Destroyed by the Woman he loves ....

So there we have it, the truth about Kev. He had to move to Sweden to escape the wrath of the woman he loved. It mirrors someone else in the news at the moment ... but his name escapes me.

So that's the end of the road for one Richie Benaud. The ECB have sold all cricket TV rights to Sky. So after 40 years of cricket commentry Richie will be packed off back to Australia, leaving us Nasser Hussain and David Gower. Now what ever you think about cricket it is a truely national gane and should be available to the masses on terrestrial TV. But Sky have given highlights to Channel 5, and would you believe it that only 80 per cent of the UK public have access to Channel 5. So there you have it ... the end as we know it ... everything is about money. Oh well ... here's ato a good Ashes series next summer.

I've just been looking through the Metro and they have a little piece on would you pass the Britishness test. It's a handbook detailing what immigrants should know about Britain. Hang on, I'm English ... not British. Well in fact I'm a Londoner but that's digging it a bit too far. One of the questions is "In what years were the Welsh Assembly and Scottish Parliament inaugurated? Well my answer would be who cares!!!! Another question is "If you spill a stranger's drink in a pub by accident, what would you do " ... "Sneak off, Say it was their fault, or buy them another drink." Well ... blow me ... that's unbelievable ... absolutely unbelievable.

Anyway ... just off to get the boat ...
