Another day in Paradise

It's been a long week. It could be over a week since I last posted. Times have changed indeed.

A new PM. Baby Bent has departed for White Hary Lane, Marcus is still on holibobs. The West Indies won a game of cricket, even if it was only a 20 20 slog. Chris Benoit killed his wife, child and himself. The West Indies won a cricket match.

Against England.

It's been a long week, and the end of June. THE RAIN HASN'T STOPPED, I need some sun. Lst year we had a hose pipe ban. That's laughable.

I've not been able to wear my fedora or sunnies.

It's France soon though.

Cricket

Well it seems a little sad that the West Indies have turned into a side not a patch on the teams of old. Oh well, at least I don't have to spend money on going to watch them ...

So Radostan Kishishev has moved on. Seven years he plyed his trade with us, and good luck to him. I had a quick look on the Leicester rivals site on what they thought and there was an air of contempt about it really. Not a name, oh another defender ... blah, blah. Who'd be a footballer?

It rained tonight. And ruined my herb garden. Blimey ... summers here.

Is it me or are people getting fatter? For the last 3 days I've had a right fat sod sit next to me on the train on my way home. They want their seat and half of mine. Sod off.

Curbing his enthusiasm

Yep, Baby Bent went and told them where to get off. He doesn't want to waste his time at the Spam when he could be down Edmonton, strutting. There's a great Thai in Stokie as well, which may have caught his eye.

It's all about opportunity. 30, 40, 50 grand a week!!!! Does it matter? He's better of playing for Liverpool on 35 grand than Wet Sham on 70. Swings etc, swings.

Another weekend rolls into town. Nothing planned apart from the cricket ....

I just want a lie i tomorrow ...

The Unknown Soldier

You can tell we've been in the Prem too long. We signed one Paddy McCarthy, and I've never heard of him. Unlike your Souleyman Diawarra, and yer Tala El Kharkouri. A no nonsense player, whatever that means!!!

Now it's made me smile the reaction that Graham Poll got to his video diary of the season shown on Inside Sport earlier this week. OoOhhhh he actually is human, he was able to show the family side of the man. Yeah, yeah .... bullshit. We've all seen Poll the entertainer strutting round. You know what you are going to get. It was Poll first everyone else a close runner up. Good riddance.

It's June, it's the Third test and there is no sign of sunshine. Global warming my ass.

I'm still looking for a plumber if you know one?
