Well not literally, and not Wembley. But hey you get the picture. It's that special time of the year. It's FA Cup third round Saturday. When we all dream of lifting the old trophy in May, but in reality get shafted by some tin pot lower division team, who I could play for. I remember when we played Exeter. We won the game 3-1, but how hard was it. Two JJ overheads sealed it, but Exeter looked quite good. This is the same Exeter who at the end of the season came bottom of the Football league and went out of the league. Yep, we can make a cows ear look like a silk purse.
I won't dwell on the Gillingham game, or the Dagenham one, or the Walsall one ... but it's not been pretty viewing over the last few years. Apart from Coventry away. Remember that one!! When we went 2-0 down their fans were singing "Can we play you every week." Well can you guess what our song was when Andy Hunt had put us 3-2 ahead. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work that out. Then it all kicked off around the streets of Coventry as we walked back to the train station. You have to laugh.
Anyway ... we've got Rochdale tomorrow. This is Cyril Smiths team who have been in the bottom league for about 30 years. Well I wish them a good day out, but just that a good day out ... then we can pack them off home. Do you think I believe that? Yeah right ...
Anyway onto more important issues. It's Celebrity Big Brother. Whoooosh!!! Brigitte Nielsen has already flashed her kitty and John McCRIRICK says he likes big breasts. Blimey, thats a new one on me. It's quite funny that they have got someone from Blazin Squad in there. Now is that what they call scrapping the bottom of the barrel??
Oh and another thing. It's been reported that British women spend about £100,000 on clothes in a lifetime. That works out at £214 a month. Now I know some women that wouldn't spend £214 in a year, and some men that wouldn't spend that in a lifetime. They have one jacket, one pair of jeans ... jeeez.
Oh and finally, well played Paulo. He lead Lazio to a 3-1 win over the old enemy Totti and the boys.
