And there was me thinking that Charlton/ Southampton was boring. Do people actually think that Arse-nal will will the champions league? Yeah right. They huffed and they puffed and if anything PSV showed how best to play against them, but I'll leave that to Mr Curbishley to work out.
It was a strange day yesterday. Quiet in the office, no problems with the trains, although saying that they were a bit squew wiff at Cannon Street on the way home, so nothing must to moan about. Apart from the football that is.
So it seems that everyone's caught onto the wonders of ebay. I had an email this morning saying how AC from up the road had just won a pair of heated rollers. Heated rollers, my life is now complete.
Talking of ebay there was a bit of controversy on the Norman Jay website the other day. During the Notting Hill Carnival Norm and the Good Times crew had been giving out free 40th anniversary CD's. Only for promotional use I add. However it seems that some unscrupulous dudes had put some on ebay. Now word spread and people started emailing and texting Norm with this news. We then had a posting on his site where he said that people shouldn't bid, it was a free CD and people could get them by sending a stamped addressed envelope etc, etc. Well now it gets interesting. A day later there was another posting on the site apologizing for miss information. The stuff advertised on ebay, had been donated by Norman for a charity and was to raise money. There were a few of the CD's signed, some tee-shirts and stuff. Oh how I laughed. So have the ebay police got nothing else to do than sing to Norm about how people are using his name to make a fast buck. It's all a bit strange really.
It's true but I may have some of the Carlisle Dolly Posse staying at mine in a few weeks ... jeeeeez.
