Reasonable force ...

Tony Blair says that you are entitled to defend yourself and it would be exceptional circumstances if you were prosecuted. Right then we can all go and get our cattle prods.

Well we didn't get Chelsea, phew .... we didn't get Arsenal, UManU or Hartlepool. We came out the hat at home to Leicester. So luckily we won't have to travel over land and sea as we got another home draw. Again it's a winnable tie, but again this is Charlton ... so don't expect it to be that straight forward. Already some of the netaddicks are looking past the midlanders and even my postman told me this morning "Another lucky draw", if only it was that easy.

It does appear expectation levels have risen. We've got the red scousers tonight and according to most if we stop Gerrard we'll get the better of them. Sod that. We need to treat them as though they are European Champions and just play our game. We've got to hope that Murphy doesn't get caught up in his one man vendetta and we've got to hope that we play out of our skin and they have a bad day. Then ... we may be in with a shout.

Tickets for next years World Cup go on sale today. Get your tickets 'ere but only if you have a Mastercard. FIFA have done a deal with Mastercard, so your Tesco Visa won't be any good here. It's a funny old game.

My tune of the day: Do you finally need a friend - Terry Callier
