Spot the Englishman ...

Says the Sun this morning, as the true light of the Arsenal fielding no English player in their 16 man squad comes to light. Well the problem is does it really matter? Is anyone that bothered? Well it appears Paul Merson is!!! Hang on, lets have a look at some of Arsenals famous English stars. Paul Merson himself ... hmmm, likes a drink, Tony Adams, ditto ... Jermaine Pennant ... do you see where I'm coming from. Ok, ok ... they have had Winterburn and Dixon, but they have got Ashley Cole to come back in, before he jets of to Chelsea that is. The point is, that times are a changing. If you employ a continental manager the chances are he is more likely to purchase players from the leagues that he knows, and the countries he knows. Take a look at Benitez at Liverpool. If Curbs had been given the Liverpool managers job, do you think that half those players would have gone to Liverpool. No, of course not. We would have Liverpool coming to the Valley with Jamie Scowcroft leading the line.

But I jest. To some people it's a travesty, and will affect the national team. Well given that they haven't won anything since 1066, whoops I mean 1966 ... Surely it's not that important?

Make sure you watch The Apprentice tonight on BBC. Its' a take on the American show where fourteen aspiring entrepreneurs will endure rigorous tasks and compete for a hefty £100,000 job with philanthropist, Sir Alan Sugar in the longest and most exhilarating job interview ever. Or so the blurb says. The difference is that the Americans had Donald Trump, and we've got Alan Sugar. Hey, but you never know ...

Bill Rancic who actually won the American version and then have a look at his British equivalent Matthew it should be one hell of a road trip.

My flats getting back to a sense of normality now that I'm back in the bedroom and the wardrobes are all done. I was thinking I should take a picture of them and let you all see ... then I thought "Why???"
