ARSE FROM YOUR ELBOW!!!!

Go on the South London massive. Put Cameron in his place, you may make him come up with some policies!!!!! Keep it real.

So Man City got a win. That's them and Wet Sham moving 3 points further away from us. We are fucked.

It's halloween. So get your masks out and turn the lights off, so you won't get done by the trick or treaters.

Well I didn't comment on Ye Old James Brown on Friday night. I would have to say what a performer. He still has the band as slick as ever, and is still a 70 year old perv. When he brought on the Sugar Babes, they got a bit scared with his chat, but it made me laugh. Typically the biggest bloke in the place wanted to stand in front of me, then had loads of kids chatting during the performance. Move on down the bus.

Back to the gym today, Body Max ... hmmmm.

Cold winds ....

You could see the winds blowing round St James' on Saturday evening. Sod that, I thought. I could quite happily have been up in the gods watching over that 0-0. Football, the beautiful game. Try telling that to Marcus Bent, Amady Faye and Matt Holland. You could then tell Bryan Hughes, Herman and Darren Bent. But I wouldn't waste my breathe.

Oh West Ham won the league yesterday!!!! Well it seems like it anyway. I think they would have been awarded the league if the press had their way. Poor old Pards.

Welling Uniteds cup dream is over for another season. 3-0 at home to a minnow. Hmmmm, it must be me. Luckily I didn't bother, so they can't really blame me for it. I'll stick to men watching football, and the vidi printer.

There's a glut of poppys around. I though Remembereance Sunday was around the 11 November. Seems like a few weeks away to me!!!! It's not just christmas then that gets this treatment.

The Royal Family. Now I've never been a watcher of this, but I settled down to watch it last night. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. When Jim and Twiggy were laying the laminate flooring, I even laughed out loud.

It's sausage and mash this evening. Mmmmmm ....

Whhopppeeee

It's the weekend, well nearly.

Had a nice stroll around Spitelfields and bagged myself an Eccles Cake. I know how to live. I also purchased some Sasparilla. Yum.

It's the BBC Electronic Proms tonight and the Godfather of the Good Groove, Mr, James .... James .... James .... Brown.

**Starts singing get up offa that ting**

I'm quite looking forward to it. A more intimate surroundings should play into James showman persona.

It's Southport next weekend. Another game I'll miss. Blimey this is becoming a habit.

I'm actually considering the Wings in the Cup tomorrow. It could be a good game, but I'm still thinking that I jinx them. Do they really need that? Then its the Toon game in a pub. Hmmm.

Oh did I mention the West Indies knocked Engalnd out of the ICC. That was without even playing them. Oh sorry about that, there's always the Ashes.

Money

Well would you believe it? We only went and beat the Trotters. That's twice in a season, never been known before. We are now Boltons bogey side .... yeah right. I heard the result as I was on the way to Stanstead. My mothers plane was delayed by 4 hours so it was easier to drive there. However the old BAA have a crafty scheme going where they charge everyone a minimum of 1 pound 50 pence to get your car anywhere near the airport. The old drive up ramp is being rebuilt so you have to use the carpark and the old 10 minutes free grace is no more. I was there for 3 minutes and had to pay. Nice.

I got back in, that is after sitting outside the Blackwall Tunnel for 40 minutes, just in time to see the Bolton misses. What with the rain et al .... it was a long old night.

Just bought a trilby. That's the look for Autumn ... trilby and mac .... it makes me laugh anyway.

Flippin Charlton

WHAT'S THE FUKING POINT????

I post up loads of old nonsence and it gets lost in cyberspace.

Fuck blogger.

I was bemoaning the fact that Charlton and Arsenal had reached an agreement to move the New Years Day game, some 24 hours. Thanks!!!! Fuck the supporter who wants a game on New Years Day, and on Boxing Day!!!! But we have to whistle. We don't count anymore, so they want my support tonight then can go twiddle. I'll be elsewhere.

I've just been offered 2 tickets for the Toon game on Saturday!!!!! Typical.

I saw the Township Stories last night. It was quite harrowing although well acted. The story did make you think. The stewed chicken rocked.

It's been a while since I went to the theatre to see a play. It's usually Musicals!!!! I'll have to go more often, and was definately worth the trip to Stratford.

Oh, I got a text from Gerry last night saying Dean Ashton was in TFI's in Bluewater. I'm a bit worried, not about Ashton given Wet Sham were losing to Chesterfield but Gerry was in TFI's!!!!!

Moaning

I was just thinking that I haven't had a good old moan for a while.

No, lets fight it ..... move on.

Just back from Tescos. What is it with smokers standing round in groups at the entrance of shops? Or what about people who walk and stop, walk and stop right in front of you!!!

I've just realised that my moisturiser contains fake tan. Blimey .....

I'm off to the theatre this evening. The Township Stories seems to be quite harrowing. It's just shy of 2 and a half hours, so I just hope I don't drop off.

I fancied a good nights sleep last night so popped two night nurse tabs. The next thing I remember is being woken by my alarm. They do work.

I've just bought some Porridge for my breakfast. It's true, winter is upon us.

My tune of the day: You - Maze (Live In New Orleans)

It may be winter outside ....

Sang Big Bazza, and it feels like it today. The cold winds are kicking in, and added to the rain, well Autumn is finally here.

So we could say the Football season is finally upon us. Well it seemed like that on Saturday with the last game this year when it will be light at the end of play. Not counting the 12:45 Everton jobbie. The clocks go back on Sunday. An extra hour in bed ....

Well Watford came, they defended and in reality had the chance to get their first 3 points of the season. Darius Henderson must have been kicking himself all the way home. How he missed that chance in the second half he, and I will never know. I would have even said that Kevin ... no even Gerru would have scored that one. Anyway we got out of jail, picked up a point and roll onto St James Park next week. Sod Bolton on Wednesday, I will be having a nice dinner and meeting up with my Mum.

Oh didn't it rain yesterday!!!! I ended up watching Kung Fu hustle. Better than I thought. Prime Suspect was also a little disappointing. We had worked out who did it at the end of the first show, and sat and watched the Cops finally figure it out. It wasn't as good as I had hoped, but hey it's drama on ITV.

Back

Well yesterday I couldn't get out of bed. Sniffles, a headache and general lethargy. Rock on.

Andre and Price

Now you have to listen to this. A locked on contender for Christmas number one. Totally unbelievable really. Why can't I get a record deal?

It's the return to Powelly tomorrow. I'm thinking he won't start. But Romm vs Powell, Dicks vs Mills anyone.

I'm trying not to think about the game. It was obvious as soon as we made it Operation Cottaging that we were going to get turned over. Remember the mask day, or the Yellow day against Forest, or the Red day against Pompey. It never works. So just treat tomorrows game as a normal Saturday, standard fair/ fayre. Leave all the 6 pointer nonsense to Sky.

Talking of Sky I've finally bit the bullet and gone and got Sky plus. Only because Lost has gone to the damn fleecers. Sky One from now on, no Channel 4. That means more ads, more general stupidity all round.

I've just finished a Body attack class. It has to be the hardest class at the gym. Two new blokes started but walked out half way through. It's all about rhythm.

Oh I forgot to mention the West Indies beat Australia the other day. That leaves England and Australia in a must win match tomorrow. That's quite funny.

Ho hum

It's taken all day to log on.

Now I'm here, I have nothing to say. That must be due to half a bottle of red at lunchtime.

I was going to watch Welling tonight, but I need a night in. Chelsea v Barca may work. And some pasta.

It's nearly christmas.

Oh well

It's going to be a long cold winter. Charlton as expected rolled over for 5 minutes, and lost. You have to take your chances and as the better team in the first half you have to make it count. Fulham were never going to be as dire in the second half and when they brough on Claus and put 3 in the middle we didn't combat it. If you don't shoot you don't score. But when can you take a realistic look at what Dowie has done. In January? In May when we may well be relegated? Or now? When Fulham changed their formation we didn't. Would Allerdyce not have seen it, or Pardew, or even Curbs. Who knows? I don't ... but it was bloody awful to watch. Oh well, a 30 yard screamer from Christopher Powell on Saturday?

Domestic Violence surged during England's matches during the world cup. Ho hum.

I was reading the Metro this morning and chuckled at Larushka Ivan-Zadeh's take on Vincent last night. Supposedly the Cockney jargon on the show is absurd and is a giraffe. She goes on to say that no one uses the term jacksey!!!! Well having sat through loads of Northerneque TV and not understood a flippin' word it would be good to hear Vincent at his Cockney best waxing lyrical about Tommy Steele, Pickled Onions and Mr Woo. I've heard people say jacksey even if Larushka hasn't. I don't watch it myself, but I may just start.

It's finally here ...

Well a month ago I went to my last Charlton game. A 1-0 defeat to Pompey. A month, a bleedin month .... it's a great game this football. It's all over to Putney on the river boat anyone?

I went to see the Devil Wears Prada on Saturday. A bit of a chick flick but good none the less. It was definitely better than watching X Factor, so they can stick that. We had a lovely pre cinema meal at Pizza Express in Stratford ... NOT. I've never had a bad experience with Pizza Express, a nice brand, nice pizzas but this was taking the piss. We arrived, where greeted and seated. A few minutes the order was taken and a few minutes after that our drinks arrived. We had a laugh, drank and chatted. Then did it some more and then some more. We looked around, there were a few people in, but not a lot, all of them lacking one thing .... food. Well a few had some food but not many. Anyway we waited, waited some more and waited again. No more drinks, no waiter interaction. Finally some 70 minutes later I summand the manager, he shrugged, shrugged some more, said they were busy then walked off. He returned with a handful of orders, they hadn't even started to cook ours yet. Talk about take the piss. As I had sat there I had noticed quite a few take away orders being bagged up. Take care of your sit down customers first is what I say. I won't be going there again. Pizzas, I may just give up on the damn things.

Oh and if you missed Prime Suspect you deserve to be locked in a room and made to watch Love Island. A quality piece of TV, quality acting an alround great 2 hours on the sofa.

I finally got a video and was able to watch the last two episodes of Lost. Quality, but what that was all about I'm sure I'll find out in 6 months.

Roll on the weekend ....

Well it must be touching 20 degrees outside. I did another Body Attack class, came outside and within seconds I was sweating bucket loads again. It's all good though, it's got to be better than that there rain.

Oh it's a double dose of fear today. Not only is it Friday 13th, but the numeric notion of the date adds up to 13, 10/2006. Well that's made it a tad better.

I'm actually quite looking forward to the match on Monday. We'll still be bottom, but the only way is up. We haven't won at Foolham in years, so get them masks out and let's give it some.

I think I may go to the cinema Saturday night. Just to get out of the boring X Factor routine. I just end up watching this shite. Without even realising.

It's Southport in a couple of weeks. I had better get a few outfits sorted. I'm not sure what look to go for!!!!

Paul Robinson

Says it wasn't his fault. It's splashed all over the Standard hordings. Bollocks Paul. Of course it was your fault.

Well maybe it was part Neville Nevilles boy, but please. It's all billy big bollox and Bentleys. They aren't interested in the European Championship, or playing for your country.

Read it all here.

Rain

The thunder and lightning .... jesus. A week ago I was just back from Ibiza. I was chilled, brown and happy. Now I'm just wet through.

Although it's now sunny.

I've just done a Body Attack class. Now I know I havn't exercised in 2 weeks, but bleeding hell. That was hard. I showered, sweated, showered again ... then sweated. Quality stuff.

I ended up watching some of the Under 21's last night in between Eastenders. Two good goals by the boy Theo.

It's the Money boys tonight over in Croatia. Expect to see our Darren sitting on his ass.

Oh it's nearly the weekend, and I was thinking of popping over to Hornchurch/ Upminster to see Welling play AFC Hornchurch in the FA Cup. I may not bother though. It depends on the weather, and whether I get myself up.

There you go a few more holiday pics ... it's lucky I took my books with me.

Love saves the day

The Secret History of Disco

A quality read if you like music. And it made me come back and buy "A Tom Moulton Mix" which I would also recommend.

Talking of holidays, I haven't shared the sights I actually saw. Like the English bloke who took off his sandals to walk down the beach in his socks. The English lads who trying to communicate with the Spanish waiter shouted their order in order to be understood. The English couple who felt safer in the US than they did in Suburban London, I doubt they were hanging in the South Bronx. It's safe to say it was the English peeps that gave me a chuckle.

Oh it's the Under 21's tonight. Think I'll watch Eastenders.

The Wayne in Spain ...

Well he might as well have been ... he was of no use at Old Trafford on Saturday. Me I went to Lakeside, did a bit of shopping. The new furniture store Ilvea, popped into TK and Ikea. Then a nice drive along the A13, until we did a merry dance around Green Street/ East Ham and Wanstead. Traffic signs, don't you love them.

I've had so much trouble buying a VCR / Video Recorder it's laughable. Curry's have 2 both retailing at around £60!!!!!! Asda, had one which was out of stock, Tescos don't do them. So I'm looking on ebay, and of course it's all cheap tat. If I wanted a DVD, then I could get one for 14 notes. Work that one out.

It'll be another weekend free of football next week as we play on the Monday. Operation Cottaging seems to be coming along. Loads out for the occasionn, but you'll see us all sitting down on the box. Maybe a clap here a clap there ... a da-da-da maybe? I can't wait.

I've got to put the hoover around tonight. Theflatt needs a good spring clean. I was thinking of getting a cleaner in but not sure if they are worth the money. I'm sure any cleaner employed would be young and Eastern European!!!! Ho hum.

The sunsshiningg but it's still cold. The jumpers are out and I'm wearing the full tweed ensemble.

The rain in Spain ....

Ain't nothing like the vrain in Tower Hill ... B Jesus.

So what do you think about Jack Straw? I think most of the women in Blackburn should wear bags on their heads. don't worry about veils. Some right old sights I tell thee.

I have to say I stayed up and watched the Sopranos last night. A quality show, and Big Vito a fag. It made me laugh.

No football this weekend comes as a blessing. Well England will be toying with 3-5-2, or 3-1-1-2-1-1, or 1-9 whatever it is. They'll huff and they'll puff and then Crouchie will score a looping header. Interesting ... I kid you not.

It's 3:45 roll on 5:30, my washing is calling me.

I'm still in holiday mode, so please excuse me ...

Never never land

Well Peter Pan can kiss my a$$. I'm back and it's more like stone cold rainy land. I was on the beach two days ago supping a beer and oiling myself. That's a perfect October in my book.

I was also strolling hand in hand down Old Ibiza Town way when I got a text telling me Arse had won 2-1. I shrugged and went about my business. I was wearing flip flops and shorts, and was hoping it was raining in blighty.

It seems like we'll be moving from the Valley in the future, Josh Wright will be poached by a "bigger" club, we're on a losing run .... blimey the more things change.

I had a lovely peaceful time in Beefa. The weather was spot on, the food lovely, what more can your common man want? It was good to see the football shirted brigade in the minority, although I did wear some basketball ones.

I even read a couple of Disco books. Some interesting stuff there, although I won't bore you.

Operation Cottaging ... a great idea.
