Will he or won't he ....

It was an interesting Question Time last night. The usual protagonists, a Tory, a Labour a Lib Dem ... then the motley crew made up by commentators, authors and people like Will Self. The self styled Grumpy Old Man foams at the mouth as he spits his rubbish. He ghosts from one view to an opposite view, enjoying belittling his peers. He was joined in this by Sir Nicholas Winterton who sat there like old father time.

Unfortunately Question Time is only on for an hour. It needs to be double this and needs to be on earlier. You always find yourself half asleep. Maybe that's my problem!!!!

There's more discontent in the ranks. Luke Young has fired a broadside and appears to want out. This is the same Luke Young who came to Charlton from the Spudz as a bit part player, took3 years to actually settle down and look accomplished and now wants out. All a load of ballyhoo you might say. But then again ... Wyn Grant says he has been contacted by someone who has what, on the face of it, looks like quite convincing corroborative evidence that the Charlton captain will indeed be going to the Spudz in the summer. He was even able to provide the salary that Luke earns now and claimed that it would be doubled when he returned to White Hart Lane. Allllriteeee then. Lukes following Dandy Murphy out to Chadwell Heath. Good luck to you Luke, you'll definitely need the force there. Is it me or am I the only one that thinks Luke Young is overrated!!!! He's got no real footballing ability, has trouble really getting up and down the line and if we go buy a half decent full back will have no problem replacing him. The main problem is that he cost £4million quid. I know it's unbelievable. How much could we get for him now? £2 mill at a push?

Isn't it good when you go home of an evening and it's still light? Roll on putting the clocks back.

I've bought myself some bow ties. It's not easy tying the damn things, even after I'd trawled the net for clues in how to do it. Make a bow here, flip that under there ... I should have got one on elastic.

There's still a hell of a lot of people who yawn without putting their hand over their mouth.

My tune of the day: Down for Double - Cubie Burke
