Issues and tissues

It's funny how email and t'internet get people all in a tis. The use of smily faces etc is so ... so boring. I'll say something "controversial" and them stick a smily on the end. Take offence how can you!!!! Some people also swear but put * in the middle. What's that all about?

It seems that we've gone and signed another Bent. This time it's Marcus from Everton. We've been linked with him for a few months now, even up to the point that Steve Bruce had thought he, Marcus had scored against them on Saturday. Get in there Steve.

Talking of Saturday it was enjoyable seeing the Addicks take 3 points and keep a clean sheet. Yep, Brum had most of the play but they didn't create anything substantial. A scramble, a wayward shot ... a save by Myhre right at the death. It's good coming away knowing that in reality we scrapped that one ... as opposed to having battered them and lost. Chris Sutton can kiss my ass.

It's a lovely day out today. Grey skies, rain in the air ... two weeks til payday.

Anthony and the Johnsons?? What's that warbling all about???

I watched Aviator over the weekend. It's quite interesting how little I knew of Howard Hughes other than he was a virtual recluse in the 70's. It's an interesting film ... but Dukes of Hazard it is not.

Welling had a good win at Blyth Spartans in the Trophy over the weekend. They're now away against Northwich or Woking.
