Biff ... baff ... boff

So the paupers of South London went over to South West London and put it right up em. Yep only a draw but still, a result that removed the smile from Pele's face, made Roman jump out of his seat to scratch his ear ... and sent half of Reading back home cursing their luck. It's quite interesting listening to the collective Chelsea voice. If you speak to the people you know have supported them for years, they have enjoyed the ride but understand that there is in fact something missing from the experience. The price of taking your boy for one although that doewsn't put some of the newbies off. Speaking to Jimbob, he commented how a New Chelsea supporting Woman at his work was asking why he wasn't going. It's £48 plus a top up for his boy who would want to go. Why pay that when he can watch it on TV eating a Sunday Roast. She commented that she would spend her last £48 on watching Chelsea, to which he laughed. She even then sai that he should go, becauseit might be the only chance he would get of watching Charlton get a result at Stamford Bridge. Oh how he laughed, and then had to phone me so I could laugh to. Some people have no sense of history. Remember Paul Miller getting that equaliser back in the 80's ... "Leaburn ... Leaburn".

I had a good trip to Columbia Road yesterday. A few beigels from Brick Lane, a stroll through to pick up some colour for the house ... then home in time to grab a chicken dinner and the second half.

I had some sounds put in the car on Saturday. I can now nod my head at the lights. It's buggered up some of the fuses though.

It's supposedly the most depressing day of the year today. It's only 23rd January ... give it a few more months.

My tune of the day: That's A Friend - BeBe Winans
