Or not as the case may be!!!
I was unfortunate to put the radio on this morning and had forgotten I was tuned into Talksport. Brazil and that other muppet (Graham Beecroft I've since learnt) were chatting about how Scotland has second highest murder rate in Europe , and in fact it showed that more than 2000 Scots are attacked every week - almost 10 times the official police figures - and are three times more likely to be victims of violent assault than in America. Fairs fair you may say ... a bit of news on the tardy station. Wonders will never cease. Then Brazil opened his cake ol'. That's because we don't like foreigners he said!!!! We don't like them coming over. Hang on a minute. So the Scots murder foreigners that come over there, taking their jobs and shagging their women. But isn't Brazil a Scot living in England. Well East Anglia at least. He's been over 'ere earning a decent living. Somewhere I seemed to have missed his point. Or maybe I've just reiterated what I already know. Why the hell do I listen to Talksport. James Whale, Mike Dickin, Mike Parry even bleedin Rodney Marsh!!!!! These people are so well off the mark it's embarrassing. Or maybe they are not so far off the mark, that's why Jamie Oliver in his new Channel Four show last night asked the question why in the UK is fast food greasy burgers from a dodgy stall – but in Continental Europe you can eat like kings as you buy their weekly groceries, delicacies like artichoke, fresh salads with olives and ripe tomatoes and fillets of fried fish. Maybe it's the I don't like foreign muck complex as they tuck into a curry.
I see Kevin Lisbie is back in action for the Addicks. He scored in the ressies, so he'll be on the bench come Saturday.
The trains were a bit crap this morning. Delays, overcrowded ... a normal morning. But we had Mr Sweary and his mobile phone to contend with. F this, F that ... what would his dear old Mum have said.
