Well that was that!!!!!

A jaunt over to Belgium, a defeat to the Spudz, Welling's floodlights blowing down, Monty getting a fivefor in his first Ashes match. Oh what a week.

Then to cap it all Curbs turns up at Wet Sham, glowing like the proverbial cat that got the cream. He's got Merv and I presume Keef with him, so it'll be same as usual. Just watch Wet Sham gring out a few 1-0's at Everton.

Seems like Les has had his honeymoon. Big Bent and Thomas have got bthe hump that Lloyd Sam is in the team. This is the same Big Bent that has swanned around for nie on 12 months doing what they say in Belgium as Le Fuck All, and the same Thomas that is always ill stroke injured stroke not up for it. 5-1, blimey it doesn't seem like a year since we last lost by that score!!!!

If you have a spare couple of days, take the Eurostar over to Belgium for the Christmas Market. It puts you in a festive spirit. Especially on the way back when the trains are stacked up at Shortlands and you are behind the 10:44 stopping train from Denmark Hill to Claphan North. Totally unbelievable really ... but hey ho I can see the Olympics in 2012 being a cutting edge event.

A bottle of Howgaarden in Belgium is 0.57 cent. Over here in Blighty it's 3 notes. So are we European when it suits?
