Teddy P it is then ...

So the point is I am going to do a Teddy P impression this afternoon. It's the way forward. I'm sure they will be light on Chas N Dave, so that's that.

There was a story run on the interweb last night that Stuart Fleetwood and Dean Sinclair had joined Cheltenham on loan. Blimey, I jumped the gun there a bit. The poor sod hasn't even unpacked his carpet slippers yet. However this morning the Cheltenham mob have come out and said "what"!!!! Seems like they are just crossing the g's and dotting the q's.

Jerry could be off to Pompey as well. On loan. That's all ok then,we'll have 12 players to pick from for Watford and one of them is Barnie Razil.

Well that's the first week of the Olympics done. Swimming, gymnastics, sword fighting and Greco-Roman grappling. The BBC have done it proud. Four commontators per event. Not like the long forgotten 70's when we had Frank Bough, Alan Weekes, David Coleman and Big Ron Pickering. Hold on I'm forgetting David Vine. That's 5 in total. The BBC had 5 doing the Badmington yesterday. The thing is about the Olympics, is that it's sport. Yes sport. All sorts of weird and wonderful sport that generally wouldnt get the time of day. They get 5 minutes here and it's rewarding to see the people that have dedicated their lives to it. Bravo. However I was reading on the American blogs that I like to catch up with, and the concensus over their is that it's boring, bland, one of the most unenspiring Olympics ever. Hmmmm ... could it be that apart from that fella Phelps the Americans are actually in a comptition? They're not top of the medals board and maybe won't have the "best" athletes in each sport. I'm hoping that Usain Bolt continues his fine form with a gold in the 100 yards dash. That's a must for Saturday.

My tune of the day: Come go with me - Teddy P
