Well I could apologise but I'm sure there won't be anyone reading this. Why should you, it's been weeks, maybe a month. But I needed the break, I was lacking in things to say, and with my twenty seventh coming up I had things to plan. As Chicago Addick mentioned it's the Cricket World Cup, and people have died. There's got to be something to say? I was even left out of the Charlton Blog love in. My name was down, but when push comes to shove I ain't a minor celebrity. I bet Vince was there!!!!
I watched the West Indies blow their chances in the cricket tonight. Two games over the course of three days and England haven't played for 5 days. That's a good one. I went over the Offy tonight and the Indian proprietor started telling me how you could tell that Cricket was run by the "White Man". His words not mine. The fact that India fucked it up, maybe hurt him more. But the critisism of malinga on Charlton Life made me laugh. He bowls like Jeff Thomson said one, no he doesn't says another. Well he bowls like Malinga, and he's a damn fine bowler at that. Get over it. With regards to the Bob Woolmer affair, that's a damn hard one. Yes we've all had the Pakistan are taking up Bob sleighing joke, but what happened has to be investigated. Let the Police get on with it, and tell us once they know what's what. And as for the Met Police saying they are willing to help, get your own house in order.
As I walked through Charing Cross this morning I was taken as it was another meet the Manager morning. Ten, maybe eleven South Eastern Train Managers, suited and booted and milling around. Should I? No sod it. The trains are always late!!! Any comments? The trains are always overcrowded!!! Comment? The trains smell of shite!! Clean them? I bet they all turned up in their cars, congestion charge paid for. Maybe next time.
As I said next Friday see's me hit twenty seven. The party has been organised for Sunday 8th, so if your down, holla at me. We are away at Man City on the actual day. I couldn't bring myself to attend, so I'll make sure the wap is working. We are still up shite creek, but at least we now have a paddle.
Well the Northerners have legged it out to Thailand to attend Les and Liz's wedding. Good luck to them I say, as it's grim up North.
I nearly got a cat last week. But I need to get a cat flap fitted. Not as straight forward as it should be. But I may just get a new bathroom suite instead. I thought Vince was going to come round and give me a price?
I've got a trip to France planned to see my bro. And a trip ooop North to se Tim new place, Southport ... not sure there are enough days in the year. We'll be putting the clocks back soon enough.
Welling lost again tonight. I think they have fucked it up. Shame really, but they couldn't go up. No bleedin' floodlights. Can't get over that one.

My kind of town ...
Well it's about time I came back and said something. That'll be the whole of Feb that I missed out, give or take a couple of days. But I need to step up to the plate. I need to get this thing back on track, in time for my 27th in a months time.
It was a lovely trip to watford on Saturday. Well until the football started. The second half got back on side until poor old Kevin Lisbie fluffed his big chance. I can only feel sorry for him, but you read on the pink oboe list people just slagging him off. Fuk me!!!! He didn't do it on purpose. Give the bloke some slack. Two weeks til the Toon. It's a long and laborious season.
Welling are playing at home at the new Dartford ground tomorrow night. I may take a trip. Unless it rains that is.
As I said it's my 27th in a few weeks. I'm having a party. Now if you want an invite leave me a message.
The Sopranos is on again tonight. It's a pain that it on so late. At least Lost is on at reasonable time ...

Oh
I supposed I needed a rest from doing this. But blogger don't help, when a few times I have come on to write some shite I couldn't log on. Oh well, I'm ere now.
It's Sunday morning, I've done some gardening, and I have Richard Pryor live on DVD. I'm sure some of his material will piss the Pink Oboe list right off. Jason Lee and his "Pineapple" haircut too boot. Remarkable really.
There's no football this weekend. The FA Cup sucks. Especially when you go out in the 3rd round. A week to go to the Wet Sham match. It's going to be a long game. I can't wait to see Merv patrolling the line again. Yea really.
It's been a troubled time down at Park View Road. Graham Hobbins sadely passed away and they've lost a couple of league games. Down to 5th ... but they need to keep on keeping on. Believe and you will achieve. Hows that for a Pards comment!
I have to say Richard Pryor is funny. Proper funny.
I stayed up to watch the Audley Harrison fight last night. Oh well, that'll be that then.

Time
I can't believe that it was Sunday when I last updated this!!!!!
Strange how time flies ...
I got down to Northfleet to see the Wings dispose of Tamworth. They have Worcester City at home on Saturday, and by all accounts never beat them. Not even in the good old Southern Lague days of John Bartlett. Worcester deserve a good shoeing in return for their moaning about the day of the match. Bleedin' Northerners.
Charlton got a good draw at Bolton. But you all know that. With a few new faces to bolster the team it could be an interesting run in. But then again if Sheffield keep winning it may not. The 3 points we lost to them could come back to haunt us, as well as the 0-0 against Watford, and the 3-2 lose to Wigan. Ho hum ...

It's been a long week ...
Finally I've been able to settle down and maybe write something. It's been a hectic week at work. I've not had a second to myself, but that's good. Come the evenings the last thing I've needed is to sign in, long on and right this shit. Well I'm here now, and I've got the text saying we've just signed "Magic" Bougherra. Time will tell if he's any good, but at least he's been here a year or so. Poor old Souleyman is what I say. Let's see if Pards plays Bougga at right back on Tuesday or in the Centre given it's Kevin Davies. It's Bolton, so don't hold your breath.
So Shilpa won Big Brother. I had it on, in between flicking. I have to say Davina is at the cutting edge as an interviewer!!!!
Well Welling United are top of the Conference South for at least a week. I still follow the Wings progress, and it appears they have been doing quite well. I haven't got down there this season, yet ... in part not wanting to put a mockers on their good run. I always turn up and it goes tits up. But I may go to Gravesend on Tuesday to see them play Tamworth in the Trophy. I say I may do, but it's dependent on what time I get out of work. Watch this space.
I've decided to decorate my bathroom. I'm not sure if I want to tile the lot or paint it white? Decisions. I may have to run it past Vince. Maybe I could get it tiled for a good price. Maybe tiled and painted ... mix and match.
It's dawned on me that it's been a long time since I had a good moan. The trains, rucksacks ... garlic breath, people in general. But have you noticed how loads of people still drive whilst on their phones. But not only drive, start doing manouvres. Thre point turns and stuff. It's quite unbelievable really. The actual standard of driving is shocking. It seems any sod can pass the test these days.

Snow
It's great isn't it? A dusting of snow and the whole world stops.
Couldn't get a train, or a roadsweeper for love nor money. It did look nice though!!!! I need to go and rescue my banana plant this evening.

Remarkable
Should I comment about the Union between England and Scotland being 300 years today. Yeah, nay ... well happy birthday Craig, Debbie and Woody.
It's been a couple of days since I was last on. Work is full on. It's actually quite good to be busy all day. The days shoot by. I even grabbed 30 minutes for lunch today. Hurrah ...
Oh I was going to try and pen something about the ADDICKS current plight. But I've been reading some emails from the pinkoboe list and I'm all hung out. I can't believe that people are still hanging onto some hope of getting out of the shite. I'm actually shaking my head. We are at a crossroads, and we need to hope that the board don't go off on one like they did this summer. They need to start planning now. We need to try to offload JFH and Big Bent. Rommadhal can as they say fcuk off, Ambrose can pack his bag back to East Anglia, and we need to get some young hungry players. In fact I think they should let JFH go now, bring back James Walker from Orient and put him in the team and leave him there. Just tell him not too worry and just play. We need to get Gislasson in and around the squad. Get Walton in front of the back four. Only what I think.
I just turned on Celebrity!!! Big Brother. I turned it straight off. Rubbish.
Shameless, you have to laugh.
Oh, one for Cooksley ... England won a game of cricket. Bloody hell. They made hard work of it though.
David Beckham ... oh it's not funny.

Idiot
How many times did Beckham say "soccer" in his many interviews. Fuck off. It's Association Football, and he should have been using this term. Brand Beckham is off to LA and it's nothing to do with the money. It's about coaching and putting something back into the game. What an idiot!!!! He hasn't won fuck all, he hasn't done anything .. it's money, money .. MONEY.
England lost the cricket again. Pieterson is also out ... it's not even funny. Well it is.
Is it me or is all this shite about Liverpool just that. At what point are they a club in termoil? Termoil, Jesus H.
It's Boro tomorrow. Bothered. Not really. A bit of brekkie, tea at the Mooleys and then 90 minutes of pain. Hmmmmm ....
I'm glad it's the weekend ...

Thatcher, thatcher ... milk snatcher
That was the text message I got this morning as I waited in the bank. I realised at once that Margaret wasn't PM any more, so it would have to be about Ben. It didn't take long for me to put 2 and 2 together. About half hour later I had a texted from the club. They had agreed a fee with City. Oh well ... that's as good as it gets!!!!
It seems we have to get a lot of the muppets out. Pards wants them out. I'm not really sure what Dowie actually saw in them, but hey what do I know.
Kelvin McKenzie is on Question Time. Quite unbelievable. I think he does believe his own shit?
Anyway I was trying to work out if Iain Dowie actually knew who or what he was buying? Is or was Djimi Traore and Amady Faye last minute recruits because there was no one else, or did he really want them? Jesus.
I've read that the nights have been warmer than those nights in July!!!! Do they mean July nights in Antarctica? It's freaking cold. What are they on about?
Kelvin McKenzie what a twat!!!! What a complete and utter twat!!!!

Mondays
That was hard this morning. The alarm woke me, I stumbled towards the kettle, it was the first working Monday in 2007. At the same time last week I was spinning on the wheels of steel. Ho hum.
So we are out of the FA Cup in 2007. An inept performance against Forest and still no away success. It's getting a tad boring now. Just one win would do it, just a little 1-0, nothing spectacular like. Anyway Forest got Chelsea away, so I'm not that fussed.
ZZ has finally turned up. But don't expect him to have any input for at least 4 weeks. He had a long flight and his standard ain't up to much. He'll go the way of Pouso (who I hear you cry!!!!)
I actually did a bit of tidying up this weekend. Six black bin bags of crap, and about 10 off stuff going to Oxfam. I couldn't even be bothered to ebay it. Just get rid.
When do the clocks go back? I'm fed up with this darkness. I want long balmy nights.
Chicken Chapple returns. If it wasn't so funny, it may be funny.

Rain
The weekend is finally upon us and the heavens open. I'm sitting here as the rain bashes against the window. Have I got an umbrella? No. Have I got my big coat? No. Ho hum is what I say.
The transfer window is upon us. Curbs is signing everyone, left right and centre. Boa Morte, Smertin, Hartson, Upson, Lineaker, Maradona. We get Reuban Agboola. It's the FA Cup tomorrow. The bleedin 3rd round and I don't appear to be that bothered. It's a shame really. Can't get up for the occasssion. Scotty Carson can't play!!!!! Oh so that's him back to Liverpool then.
The Ashes were lost then. 5 big ones to nil. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it. Three balls I watched last night. Three balls it look Pieterson to nick one. Oh well. It was interesting listening to Botham and Hussain this morning. They were taking exception to a Steve Harmiosn interview. I had actually seen the interview myself, and couldn't believe what he was saying. When asked what he would be doing when he got home, as there is 5 months before the next test he replied "I don't know." He doesn't know!!!!! Oh, keep yourself fir Stevie, lay off the pies, maybe practice a bit of bowling down the nets in Durham Highstreet. Not that hard is it?

Another day ...
Until the end of the week, and a lie in. I really struggled to get in this morning. Three days into a new job and the strain is taking hold. Cheers for the heads up on the best sandwich bar locally Tel.
I tuned into Celebrity BB last night and soon tuned right out. I'll be watching the Hogfather tonight me thinks.
Oh I've just seen that Osei has had his red card disciplinary hearing at the FA. THe suits decided it was all a waste of time and have increased his ban by 100%. Quality. I can just see Jose over at the FA and them telling him it's a waste of time and Terry will be banned for 8 games not 4. Ho hum. At least Pards got off.
Did I say it's only Thursday!!!!! Jesus.

Time on my side
So here I am. It's 10:50 and I can finally settle down to write something. It's been a long couple of weeks. Leaving one job after 4 years and starting in another part of London is quite weird. Football, was weird over the Chrimbo break, even up to the Arsenal experience last night. It's quite easy to be an Arsenal supporter. Middle class Urbanite, with a few bucks in your pocket. You weren't there netween 53 and 70 were you? Idiots.
James Brown finally passed away. I actually saw the Godfather back in November. Little did I know. I remember him flirting up there with the Sugar Babes, who didn't know what the fcuk was going on. Respect.
Celebrity Big Brother!!!!! No thanks.
I'm actually working up by Oxford Circus now. That's different from Aldgate I tell thee. So many people. I only want to get a sandwich.
Jocelyn Brown and Alexander O'Neil .... quality. Thery are on now, BBC1 ... Just the two of us. Stick that in your pipe. There's scope there for a Southport duet, surely?
The cricket is still on. It's a bit of a lame duck in reality, but it'll be 5-0 in about 8 hours. My
