Something for the weekend ...

I really fancy seeing that film "Saw" but I'm not one for going to horror flicks alone. I like the togetherness you get when your with a young lady ... you know where I'm coming from ... don't you?

I had to laugh about that reality show the Farm. As I've mentioned I've been watching it just to see the interaction of Stan and Rebecca. Well when they showed her and that pig I was tempted to switch over ... but I perservered. I wish I hadn't bothered. I think this was without doubt the worst piece of TV ever shown ... even worst than a Chrystal Palarse match on TV.

So we have England against Wales this weekend. So what I hear you cry. I have to agree. I'm not one to get carried along on the England are going to conqueror the world line, but they should beat Wales! Shouldn't they? Well it will never be easy ... so I expect it to be 0-0.

I'm wearing an original vintage 70's cream jacket today. It rocks. It goes ever so well with a red rosette. Oh the stares on the train this morning as I browsed Living etc, only in America ... right.

Isn't picture messaging the best? I got two nice pictures last night. I would like to publicly state ...

thank you ;)

Young gifted and black ...

No not me, but I could be described as that ... in my humble opinion ... but it was playing over a news article about Black History month that I saw last night. Black history month, now that will send a few shudders down a few spines. What's the point, why do we need it, it's a waste of resources? I've heard it all before ... it's quite disappointing that people think that there shouldn't be an interest in the history of Black people in this country. It's actually part of my make up, so why shouldn't I take an interest?

The England squad were all photographed wearing those "Let's kick racism out of football" teeshirts yesterday. Another cheap marketing ploy? Maybe!! But it's still a major problem if you read what the Spanish National coach, Luis Aragones said to Jose Reyes. It's about Thierry Henry, and I'll let you work it out yourself.

I watched the MOBO's on BBC Tv last night. Am I getting old? Some of those acts, I ask you. I thought Mos Def did a great job in presenting the show, but I'm sure most people weren't down with his actual performance. I loved it, it's more cutting edge than most rapping. Estelle though I don't get, Most Promising newcomer ... yep if you say so.

News in ... Unilever are shutting their Birds Eye frozen food plant in Grimsby next year with the loss of 600 jobs. Seems like there will be trouble on the streets of Grimsby ...

The self preservation society ...

Blimey, I said. I got an email this morning from the CIFC list saying that my page had been linked to the Forever Charlton site. That would mean that more people might want to see the drivel I actually spout, and work out who I am!!! Not a good thought really, I might have to dig out that fur coat so I can look a bit like Sol Campbell. Saying that though I should put up a link to the Forever site as well ...

There's been a lot of talk amongst the Charlton people about giving some of the young lads in reserve a chance. I would say that every time I have seen Lloyd Sam he impresses me, but there's more chance of Charlie Parker coming back than Lloyd getting a look in. After watching a Curbs led Charlton for over a decade we know what to expect.

1. Now we are an established Prem team no untried, untested, young lads can get a look in.

2. No player must be outside his own penalty box when the opponents have a corner, and yes that does include you Dennis.

3. Substitutes will stand on the touchline, stripped for about 10 minutes whilest Curbs and Day stand around scratching their bits.

4. We will sound off about a good cup run but in reality, forget it.

Anyway ... we all know what to expect from Charlton, even though some of us have forgotten. We will never be world beaters, but all we want is a little bit of passion. Try it, you might like it.

After the Lord Mayors show ...

Well how about that for a score? No not the Soapy Nigels, Charlton 3 Chelsea 0. Yep you read that right, but it was the ressies. Indeed Charlton reserves beat Chelsea reserves 3-0. Quality eh ... er well no not really. It was the reserves and the Chelsea team was full of twelve year olds.

I had my hair cut last night. I had a nice normal cut, short sides and front.

Apart from that it was a quiet night. I watched Ghost Ship on dvd ... a bit cheesey but okay for a few hours. I even managed to watch the Sopranos.

Well it's October now, it's autumn and I've come over all S.A.D!!! I need the heat of the sun, the lashing of the sea ... I need a holiday.

Oh, and I've just registered for Run London in November. A 10k road run round Southwark and Canary Wharf ... I don't get it.

Aye Carumba ...

Well that was that!!! Our boys took a hell of a thrashing at the hands of the Arse. It's no consolation how good they are, they we just didn't compete. I've seen us battle there in the past but this was by far the worst attacking performance in years. We had a total of zero shots on target. Zero ... now even CIFC would have had a shot. It started so well, a few bevies in the Gas Light in Finsbury Park, banter with Lopata, Vince, G and Bern. I even ate a bag of peanuts, and I never eat peanuts. Then we had the fun, sitting watching a load of poop with the only entertaining thing being that the Bald Stewards recognised me from last year. I actually left the match 20 minutes from the end. This was the first time I have left a game early since the early 80's, but it was raining, it was all down there end and I was pished. We had a mass exodus back to Arsenal Station then poor old Inspector Sands was left to help an elderly Arse fan who had slipped on the slippery tiles. The rest of us ran off to jump on a train that then got stuck in the tunnel for 25 minutes, oh the joys of North London.

I had a nice relaxing day down at my Mums yesterday. I actually lay on the settee for about 8 hours, watching all sorts of silly TV, like X-Factor and the King and I. I was treated to a nice lunch of a rack of lamb and had a leisurely drive home. It's so annoying driving a Mini on the motorway as all those 4x4's seem like they have their full beams on. But hey ... I'm not moaning.

Did I mention that I pulled a calf muscle on thursday. I kid you not my whole leg is throbbing. That's going to put me out of action for a week or so, but I might go and do some weights on Wednesday. Saying that though, I'm starting the Atkins again for 3 weeks today. Eggs and ham, egg's and ham ... in three weeks I will be Dr Seuess.

Bombay Mix is gonna get ya ...

First things first. Millwall are out of Europe with little more than a passing mention. Or they would have been. It appears that up to 4 of their fans were stabbed over in Hungary. It's a game of football, whatever Bill Shankley said ... it ain't worth it. I was trying to put this into a Charlton perspective. Say we had qualified in 5th place last season and got into Europe. Would you have gone? Damn right you would!!! Hungary away just for a few days, quality. Then the realisation hits home. Eastern Europe, bad boys on mass, this ain't China. It's bad enough going to Kingston upon Hull or Grimsby, but being left to your own devises in a far flung hostile environment. Not what I would have wanted from a European experience. I know a few Millwall people, even class them as friends, and most of my Mums side of the family are all from down the Blue and off of Jamaica Road. So would I have wanted them to go to Hungary and end up like these lads. No I bleedin well wouldn't, so for once I'm going to send a big shout out to the Millwall.

Now onto other things, when do we play Palarse in that Cup????

I was flicking last night, you know flicking between channels and I came across that reality programme - The Farm. I'm hooked. What the bleedin hell is this all about? Rebecca Loos talking about her sexual adventures, Vanilla Ice threatening to land one on Terry Christian, Stan Collymore being voted Farm Manager ... I'm definately going to be tuned in for this one.

Sod the Grand Prix story, the best one I've seen today involves Asda and the fact that they were selling Dr Death costumes in their Hyde store yards from where Harold Shipman had his surgery. Now I shouldn't laugh, but I did ... even though Asda stated that a donation is now being made to victims families. Scotch Egg anyone?

It's another weekend and we have some footie this weekend. I say some footie with tongue very much lodged in my cheek. In fact we go to Highbury/ Library to take on the current Premier League Champions, current league leaders ... and the team who have not lost in something like 47 games. Law of averages and all that!!!!! No I don't think so either ... but lets just give it a go.

Sleepless in Seattle ...

Well more like Hither Green, but I haven't been sleeping properly. Although saying that I did seem to get a good night last night as it was the first time in weeks that my alarm actually woke me up, as oppossed to waking up before the alarm. Oh my body clock.

I was flicking last night between the Chels and the Arse until Glen asked me to come over and upload some AntiVirus software on his PC. Yes I know, it's as about as interesting as watching the Arse but he hasn't got a clue. He's had his PC for two weeks and already he's had it crash, lock him out of AOL and had more spyware on it than I had in 5 years. I can't begin to wonder what he's been looking at!!!

I'm not one to moan but what is it with people on the DLR. They are a different breed. I think it's a Canary Wharf thing but hey.

My 15 inch flat screen monitor ends on ebay in about 2 hours so if you want to get in their quick take a look.

There's nothing quite like advertising. Oh and I have a signed Charlton Athletic Football Shirt for sale at offers OVER £60. I won it at the player of the year dance at the end of last season, it's signed by most of the first team squad etc, etc ... and it is a size XXXL.

Look what just turned up for me ... who's da man !!!!

Rooney, Schmoony, Looney ...

Well they couldn't have written the script better, could they? Even seeing that smug mug Eamon Holmes on TV this morning brought it on home. He was saying how sorry he was for Evertonians!!! Yeah right. Luckily we haven't had to sit there and watch our Scott do anything at Chelski. He hasn't played a game. Well he did get on as a substitute in one game ... but he doesn't play. From the fringes of the England squad to a has been in 6 easy months, quality mansion though Scotty.

More importantly the Romm scored his first Charlton reserve team goal last night. So he should be ready and waiting to step up at the Library on Saturday, right !!!! Well it ain't gonna happen is it. We'll pack the midfield and sit back allowing the Arse to have all the play. How do I know that? Well I've been to the same game for the last 3 seasons. All for £33 ... oh how I live.

I bought a new swing bin last night. I went to John Lewis to get some black dye and saw a bright pink bin. Now that was me I thought, so went right ahead. I then had the great task of carting it home on the train. Some people are jerks ... !!!!

Right, the Labour Party conference. It's all going down the swanny but somethings I don't get. There was one protest by the dad of a military policeman murdered in Iraq. Murdered was the wording used but wasn't it a war? The chaps son was killed back in June doing his duty. The dad wanted to talk to Tony Blair because he had felt that the brave soldiers were betrayed by their country and he wanted an apology. Can I ask this? How does a soldier become brave ...? If we take away war, guns, bullets, bombs ... could a soldier be brave? Would there be any soldiers? If I went to a careers councillor and was offered the chance of being in the army or an accountant which one would make me feel as though I might get killed doing my job. Answer me that one Rav? Just a few thoughts really ...

We all dream of a team of El Karkouri ...

Well it doesn't go as much as the El Khalej song but I think our team would be a bit better with a load of Karkouris as opposed to El Khalejes.

It wasn't pretty, but it was effective. Four home games, three wins ... one goal conceded and that was Bergers wonder strike. And this was achieved with JJ playing for most of the game. I would have to say that I don't think Arse and his merry Goolies will be quaking in their collective boots though.

What's the point of Bombay Mix? There's a big bag of it on the desk next to mine ... and that's where it's staying.

I was reading the message board on the Southport Weekender website and came across a discussion about the an article/ or review in the latest DJ mag. It was a review of a mix CD by Joe Claussell and Blaze. Well if anyone knows these guys you would know what to expect. It's as easy as ordering meat and two veg. Well anyway the new CD gets absolutely ripped apart by a Ben Edwards, who it seems has no time for Soulful house. Well it's horses for courses really and what our Ben has to say is typical of the music press who know nothing about what they are reviewing.

Ben actually said "At the risk of being lynched, tortured and left to rot in Louie Vegas basement , there's just something about soulful house that makes you want to shake the dj by the ears and tell them to grow some fooking balls. Its definitely an acquired taste, but records that instruct you to "spread your wings and fly" or seek religious solace by "reaching up' can find the nearest motorway bridge and do one. Joe Claussells love of soul is clearly infectious, but that doesn't stop him conjuring vile images of fearless estate agents in neat polished loafers doing the chicken dance to irrating records like FRANK ROGER BELIEVE IN ME ... Blaze offering meanwhile just sounds like a soppy street-corner evangelist."

Well there you go, nice one. Given that most of the artists hail from a gospel background, it's no surprise really is it. I'm sure Ben likes the more hard house or maybe even likes to slap his bitch up ...

The King is dead ... long live the King

So, I said I wouldn't mention it as I danced round the Mooneys living room having watched Browne and Bradshaw put on just over 70 runs to win the ICC Trophy. But after a stupid text from King of the Numpties Kevin Everest I thought I would rub it in. Yes, yes ... I realise that West Indian cricket is down in the doldruns, there isn't a player in the current team that would have got into the Squad in the late 70's, 80's and early 90's. But in reality they have just won the World Cup euqivalent beating England in their own backyard. So for the record Kev, you wouldn't know the first thing about the three W's ... so go back to the Little England community you live in and revel in your canal view.

Respect to Mr Cooksley who pointed out that Engalnd do actually win the Darts each year, apart from when that Dutch bloke, and the Canadian win it.

Well that was a weird weekend. As mentioned I was expecting visitors. Part of the Carlisle Dolly squad. However things didn't go to plan and I think I ruined a good friendship. But I'm not going to sing about that on here ... people who know ... KNOW, it's all about respect.

So here's a question. Do people believe in love at first sight, well maybe not love but a bit more than lust, some deep seated feeling. Ok, maybe not at first sight, but what about having weird feelings for someone that you haven't seen for about 5 months and have only just started speaking to again? I ask, because a friend asked me ... and I didn't know. It did make me think though.

It's football tonight. We are at home to Blackburn and their new manager Mr Hughes (no not that fat 80's wrestler in the Blues Brother costume) the current Welsh manager Mr Hughes, you remember the bloke who when playing for Everton got Carl Tiler sent off. Anyway we are unbeaten at home and Blackburn haven't got an away point since April. There she blows eh!!!! There she blows!!! There was a good article in the Independent on Sunday yesterday about Danny Murphy. He seems to talk sense, even though I suppose some of the stuff shouldn't be said in these PC times. PC times my arse!!! I've never known what that means, so if OUR Danny wants to play for an English Manager why shouldn't he say so. Any way on another issue, we are still missing Paulo ... he was an entertainer.

Oh ... here's one for the purests. Luton, yes that Luton has been voted the worst place to live in Britain. It was nominated for it's ugly architecture and lack of anything to do. Other rivals included Windsor, Sunderland and wait for it ... London. Not that there London. London or Luton ... you take your pick. Also before I forget there was an article written in the Evening Sub-Standard on friday about the great North-South divide. Yep, the North-South London divide. Some muppet was banging on about all the good things in London are North of the river. Yep, yep .. yadda, yadda. He was saying how the only thing to venture South for was the Tate Modern and thats only just South London. But he then went on to say how he was born in Birmingham, lived in some other place. Well sonny, why don't you just do one. These out of towners who come into our great city upsetting the applecart. Just get the first plane to Sweden muppet.

Little boy lost ...

Well it's started. All the vague threats from the Nigels on the Netaddicks board. They are going to be up for this one!!! Well how come it's taken them 20 years to get up for it. Oh ... it all stems from the last time we visited Sellout Park and Old Mother Hubbard was on the pitch. Paul Kitson what a goal.

Have you ever had one of those evenings? I was on the phone for about three hours. You know catching up and stuff. I don't think I've ever spoken so much. Yeah, ok ... of course I have.

Well it's another football free weekend. We play Blackburn again on Monday. It's got to be better than the Soton game, surely?? So I can do the old Portabello thingy, like I need some new clothes.

It seems Dulwich Hamlet have been bad mouthing CIFC. A match originally organised for aturday had to be called off over an admin error. And they started bitching. It even got a mention on Inspector Sands site, I might even come out of retirement for this game. I think I can just about still run.

I'm sitting here as the Boss bounced up and down on his new toy. A £900 Stumpjumper bike. A kid in a sweetie shop, I am saying nothing ... he might be reading this.

The sun is shinning. Why does it shine now when it should have shined back in July. It means I can still wear my shades, and yes I do. Even on the tube. I got some stares today, maybe I don't help myself too much but hey.

I've just been reading the paper about this Ken Bigley thing. There's not much one can say is there. But if you get offered a job in Iraq for loads of dosh wouldn't you think hmmmm ... there's a possibility of being kidnapped. Maybe a little more so than working in High Wycombe.

Maybe it's just me ...

First things first ...

TOP TIPS” FOR URBANITE WOMEN – FROM URBANITE MEN

TIP 1 – Lose the obsession with “toilet-seat-down”!“Moaning about men leaving the toilet seat up! Would they rather we left it down and pissed all over it? Do they not look to see if the seat is down before sitting on it? I know I do if I'm going for a number 2! Get over it ladies!”
“The obsession with blokes having to put the toilet seat down AFTER they go to the loo. Do we make them lift it up after they've been??”

TIP 2 - Don’t take hours to get ready“Taking HOURS to get ready in the morning or on a night out... then asking "Come on, aren't you ready?" Of course I'm not ready! I've been waiting for the bathroom to come free for the past three hours!”

What's it all about Alfie ... ???

Oh and did you notice the West Indies got to the final of the ICC Championship. They take on Hing-er-lan and it's going to be a right old tussle. No I don't think so either, but hey after the way they've played this summer (Did we have a summer ..?) beggars and choosers et al.

You know what, I'm actually in a good mood. Blimey wonders will never cease ...!!!

Wonders never cease ...

They only did it. They only went and won a Cup game ... and didn't concede a goal. Two nil at Grimsby, I can't really believe it. Putting aside the fact that they were terrible, were outplayed for 80 minutes, only had two shots, defended too deep, etc ... etc it's a cracking result.

Wemberleeeee, wembereleee ....

Aren't picture messages great!!!! I got one this morning that made me smile.

Back at CIFC central, old Kev sent an email this morning.

"over the weekend i had a discussion with jeff and barnie about how i find tony blair's current stance towards the terrorists in iraq quite hypocrytical when you think how he gave in to the IRA."

I thought Bern and Jiff had gone to Sweden to drink beer and shag women ... ??? Maybe a bit of debating on the side is good!!!

Down to earth with a bump ...

Why is it that after a great weekend you always feel so ... ya get me !!!!

I got home last night to a whole heep of washing up, clothes washing, ironing ... yadda, yadda. I live the life. I was even contemplating a trip to Grimsby to see the might Addicks, but who wants to go to Grimsby on a cold wet tuesday evening. Actually I lie, it's was only the fact that I'm desperately needed at work otherwise I would be in the car with Mr Portch. Goodbye Horse indeed ...

So Brian Clough has passed away. A great manager, but he never really effected me in any way ... I don't really gloat on all these football figures etc, etc ... but I do remember singing "Brian Clough is a homosexual" at the City Ground on a few occassions, don't ask me.

I should be calling this page "The King of Swing" after the golfing heroics over the last few days. But I'm sure what with my reputation a few people will get the wrong idea ... hey Kev ... ??

I was on the train this morning standing opposite a woman reading a book. Blimey I hear you all cry. Yes, yes ... it was a book. The title of the book. Well here goes ...

The Stronger Women Get, the More Men Love Football: Sexism and the Culture of Sport .

I had a look on Amazon. Blimey what a read. The Synops, a critique of sexism in contemporary sport in which the author shows how it affects women and men outside the playing arena, examining how women are excluded from participating in sport on equal terms with men, and how all-male sporting environments foster misogyny and sexual violence.

And there's me thinking that people shouldn't read Harry Potter. Participating in sport on equal terms. What!!! Foster misogyny and sexual violence ... jesus!!! Have I missed something here? So the fact that I contemplated going to Grimsby would have turned me into Gazza, or even Mike Tyson. That's one for the lads to discuss ...

Right, it's nearly time for my Fabulous Abs and Bums class at the gym ...

This is da damn pic that only took 4 days to send by email ...

Right, this is the only pic of me at the Oyster Festival, in a suit. It was taken with Scott before it all got a bit messy. Look no tie, look no tie ...

Now how big is this place ... ??? Where's Wendals bowler hat ... there's a money reward you know ...

It's the way I tell em ... Scottish Scott with English Wendal and the Ginger one over his shoulder ...

Oysters on the table up in Durham ... Can one man eat 25 in a sitting ... OH HELL YEAH!!!!

So there goes another weekend. And should I say what a weekend. Starting at 8 am on friday morning on that train to Durham and finishing this morning when I touched down at Stanstead at some ungodly hour. I've treked around most of the North of England and luckily went no where near Birmingham. Go on Luke use the force.

Well the First Annual (???) Oyster Festival what a doo. The highlight being 3 off us downing 24 shots of flavoured voddy in a bar in Newcastle. Oh my head. The food was tops, the company even better, including the Ginger one who even managed to get himself in a bit of bother with the local crimelords ... what a muppet.

The drive over to Blackpool was interesting. If you call driving across the pennines at 40 miles an hour interesting. I wanted to take some photos of the scenery, but what's the point. It's grass.

Well I arrived in Fleetwood, just outside Blackpool in time for kickoff. I laid my head down and was woken by Timbo coming i saying Charlton were one nil up. Whoooosh was the cry of the day.

Right I thought I'll get onto the web page and listen to the commentary. Fifteen minutes later after I had defragged his machine and uploaded realplayer I got it working. Yep, you guessed it. Within 2 minutes, Brumm had equalised. I turned it off and went back to the settee. I suppose I should be happy with a 1-1.

Well the evening was a take on Phoenix Nights. A 30TH birthday doo in the local Rugby Club. I was wearing my best tux and matching feathers, I don't help myself do I.

Well I'm still struggling. I think those Oysters have just taken their toll, and the Curry last night didn't help.

I may get the pic through one of these days ...

There's always something ... now the comments ting don't work ...

It's a new day ...

Well I've just been told that tomorrows Oyster Festival is a shirt and tie experience.

Fancy that eh !!!! A shirt and a tie. I don't even wear that for work ... Oh well needs must.

Will it be the red number or maybe a smidgen of pastel shades. A sports jacket or forma suit??

Choices, choices ... choices.

I had a nice evening last night. Just me and UManU.

Ya get me ...

On a slightly nervous note, why did I have a curry yesterday? What with this Oyster thingamy tomorrow ... I'm a bit worried. A constitution of steel, thats me.

The sun is shinning, everything seems okay ... blimey I'm in a good mood.

I've just taken a pic of the new tee-shirt I bought on ebay. I wore it to work today ... you have to laugh ...

Yawn, yawn ... yawn

And there was me thinking that Charlton/ Southampton was boring. Do people actually think that Arse-nal will will the champions league? Yeah right. They huffed and they puffed and if anything PSV showed how best to play against them, but I'll leave that to Mr Curbishley to work out.

It was a strange day yesterday. Quiet in the office, no problems with the trains, although saying that they were a bit squew wiff at Cannon Street on the way home, so nothing must to moan about. Apart from the football that is.

So it seems that everyone's caught onto the wonders of ebay. I had an email this morning saying how AC from up the road had just won a pair of heated rollers. Heated rollers, my life is now complete.

Talking of ebay there was a bit of controversy on the Norman Jay website the other day. During the Notting Hill Carnival Norm and the Good Times crew had been giving out free 40th anniversary CD's. Only for promotional use I add. However it seems that some unscrupulous dudes had put some on ebay. Now word spread and people started emailing and texting Norm with this news. We then had a posting on his site where he said that people shouldn't bid, it was a free CD and people could get them by sending a stamped addressed envelope etc, etc. Well now it gets interesting. A day later there was another posting on the site apologizing for miss information. The stuff advertised on ebay, had been donated by Norman for a charity and was to raise money. There were a few of the CD's signed, some tee-shirts and stuff. Oh how I laughed. So have the ebay police got nothing else to do than sing to Norm about how people are using his name to make a fast buck. It's all a bit strange really.

It's true but I may have some of the Carlisle Dolly Posse staying at mine in a few weeks ... jeeeeez.

Well I'm back from the gym ... and in reality I'm still pished off. I just read the report of Paulo's debut for Lazio on Sunday and just had to smile. He was fighting with his own players, with the opposition fans until the maneger had to take him off after 50 minutes.

It's called passion ... and if you'd seen the toilet last night you would understand.

One Bobby Robson ...

Came the cry from the back of the North Upper last night.

Blobby Robson, I ask you !!!!

I would say that last nights match was maybe the worst game of football that I have seen for many a year. It wasn't just Charlton, who were abysmal but Southampton didn't help matters. The point being that the likes of Stuart Balmer, Carl Leaburn were paid peanuts in comparrison to todays pretenders. But why the likes of Dandy Murphy are paid so much is beyond me. Pass, they couldn't pass wind.

Three weeks I had been looking forward to that. Three weeks!!! What's the point .... ???

I couldn't work out why after 12 years we had decided to roll the ball out from the goalkeeper to the defence. Yea it must be because we have the diddy men playing up front. Get Dino to roll the ball out and then let someone in the back four lump the ball up instead. Tactics ... quality. Is that what Melvyn does for the team? Anyway we are above UManU so it can't be that bad.

On another note, what's the point of JJ?? What has heppened to him .... ??? Can't we send him to Norwich??? No they wouldn't want him ... would they ???

I'm still smarting ... so I'm going to the gym to call down ...

My tune of the day: Complete silence

It's raining, the trains are all running late and there's no coffee in the office.

Don't you just love it ... ?

Another football free weekend was spent with me wasting my saturday playing cricket. We lost by 9 wickets ... played like, well played like Barclays Bankers actually, and that's my season over. It's the Oyster festival next weekend, and then it's a Carlisle vs London weekend down in the smoke. Happy days ...

We are playing Southampton tonight, so the odds are on a refereeing decision to take centre billing. Well it seemed that way over the weekend, so why should it change with a match live on Sky. Having ref'd a few matches in my time my sympathies were with Mark Halsey. But knowing what sort of referee he is made me choke slightly. I remember him giving the Arse a penalty when we were 4-1 up at Highbury. Henry dived over Fishes leg and got the decision. It was Highbury so the odds were on it being given but on playback it was never a pen. Anyway, I digress, if a ref makes a wrong call it is good that he can consult his linesman (yes it's a bleedin linesman) and then change his decission. It was never a penalty anyway. As for the disallowed goal, John had both hand on Toures back and pushed as he headed. Er, that's a foul ... I have given a penalty when the rolls were reversed in the past, only for the complaining defender to tell me after the match that I had made the correct call. Don't you just love footballers. Anyway, it will be strange tonight, I haven't seen a match in weeks and you can guarantee that the Charlton players will act as if they have never seena ball in their careers. We've been here before ... so don't tell me I'm too pessimistic.

The sun is shining now, so the sweat shirt I put on today was the wrong call. Typical ...

I went to a christining/ 40th birthday party yesterday. It was quite an affair over in Wanstead, in a big marquee with shed loads of food. Poor old Horace was on a new wheat free diet so couldnt have the roti or macaroini cheese his favourites. He had to make do with salmon and salad. Poor boy. Typically Glen lost his car keys so didnt turn up til just before 8. Given that I had been there since 1, he and Rod missed out.

Arrivals today ...

Zim, zimmer ...

There's been a debate in the Metro this week about Cyclists and Motorists. One day it ws all about cycling on pavements, going the wrong way down one way streets, then there was the come back about speeding, jumping lights ... blah, blah ... blah. Not very interesting until you read a letter in todays Metro. From a guy who has been permanently disabled after a cyclist hit him after jumping a red light. No redress, and lucky to get the guy as he was about to get on his toes if it wasn't for other pedestrians. Well isn't that the problem. Anyone can get a bike and ride it on the road. No records, no insurance ... I don't really understand it. So if a cyclist hits a pedestrian and causes injury you have to lump it? Seems like it ...

It's friday and I think it must be dress down day. There were a few people on my train this morning in chinos. Usually suited and booted they had on an assortment of banana republic and gap, pleated casual strides. Now, if I ever buy and wear a pair of chinos may you all throw eggs at me in the street. Why, you should all castigate me on the pitch at the Valley live on Sky. Chinos, what's the point in them. They are so unflattering, so ... so ... Man at C&A. I'm sure I've Kev in a pair though???

Reports coming in say that Speed dating actually works. Experts say love may not happen at first sight but first impressions and all that. Experts my arse. Three minutes to impress a sad lonely old woman who can't hold a conversation for an hour, who talks about her cats and or what her last boyfriend was like. It's commical really, but I may try to ask Bern if they work ... !!!

So another weekend free from footie. We play on Monday night. I'm actually getting the shakes ... NO MAYBE NOT.

I think I have to visit the Valley on saturday to get my Arsenal tickets. It's only £33 ... and we get to see Thierry Henry run riot for 90 minutes ... oh joy.

All quiet on the western front ...

Well still no football to write home about. No transfer speculation, the windows shut ... and all we get to talk about is how the England players have thrown their toys out of the pram.

"We don't want to talk to the press!!!"

"All they do is have a go at us, so we are all sticking together ..."

Yep, the old siege mentality kicks in again, the same as when Rio got banned. Do they never learn?

So the Sun have gone over the top with the David James v the Donkey. But it's the Sun, they've been doing it for years, remember Hillsborough. Beckham and the likes actually court publicity, so whats the problem ... unless you're Gary Neville that is!!!

There's another 9/11 Conspiracy programme on tonight. I just get the feeling that we've gone full circle and the sympathy is slowly ebing away. Having sat drinking under Canary Wharf a few days ago, I can only imagine what the site and sounds of 9/11 were like.

So Ryanair are giving away over 3 million flights. Strange that the old airport taxes seem to have gone up. But a return to Blackpool for £25 can't be bad ... dependant on where your looking really.

The cricket season is slowly coming to an end, well my season is. It's the last game on Saturday and we only have 6 players. No captain, no people to do the teas ... I might have to get the bread knife out myself. It's all about organisation boys ... we need to get it sorted. Hear me now ...

A letter in the Metro is stating how much holiday teachers get. In fact it states they get better holidays than the rest of us. Now when I think of the grief that my Mum had to put up with as a teacher. Ill mannered children, ungrateful parents, holidays yeah right ... you have to plan for the school year, so those fabled 6 weeks are in reality a couple of days. Then if you want to go away, it's er ... in the school holidays, so everything is so much more expensive. All on a minimum wage ...

Oh, and before I forget ... Mr Wawning was back on the train this morning. Put ya hand up ...

Blogger ...

This blogging thing pishes me right off. It's taken me until 9:45 in the evening to get the bleedin thing to post. I s'pose you can't moan at things you get for free.

Oh an England won and Robbie Savage got sent off. It's a cruel world ...

Left leg in ... left leg out ...

So does anyone actually care about the Mercury Music awards? Are you bothered that Franz Ferdinad piped the Zutons, Amy Winehouse and Jamelia? No ... a bit like me then. It's not my scene, not even when Dizzy Rascal walked away with it. For me it's still about the hands in the air ... give me Arnold Jarvis any time.

So we'll all be glued to the box tonight to see the next instalment of Sven and friends. Will James do his best pudding impression again, will Becks stroll around like a super furry ego, and how long will it take Smudger to kick someone. Well it is football and it is on the box. I wonder who Vince wants to win??

Talking of football I went to see little Teddy Mooney play in the under 7's Junior reds last night. It was all a bit strange really, watching loads of 6/7 year olds all run after the ball as everyone looked on. It was a bit like watching Charlton at times.

What's all this about that JoJo girl. Thirteen and singing songs about cheating lovers. Maybe I missed something here. No girl of mine etc, etc ...

Toe tapping, foot stomping ...

Is it me or do other people find it ever so irritating?

You know, people who get off trains, planes or automobiles still reading their paper or book. Then meander down the platform heading straight for me. Oh right, maybe it's only me.

Well it's been weeks since the mighty Addicks kicked a ball in anger, and it seems like weeks until the next game. In fact it's next Monday that they play next. At home to Southampton with Sir Clyde sitting in the stand. Johnny Wilkinson will be turning in his grave!!!!

I always like to read Casino Avenue, http://www.casino-avenue.co.uk/ Inspector Sands thoughts on South London, the World and Pop Culture. But I was somewhat taken aback at his thoughts on cleanliness in this last blog. He was going on about his cleaning habits and comparing them to a nice couple he drinks with at his local. First things first, single men and cohabiting men are two different beasts. It doesn't matter how clean you think you are, or how often you put the hoover round, as soon as you become a couple things change. The fact that you get home from work and throw your jacket on the chair isn't going to happen when the Misses gets home. It's fact. You may have the tidyest kitchen off all your single friends but how often do you put that baby oil on the stainless steel splashback? You know that she would do it every week ... it's just the way things are. So if I may, Inspector Sands live with it. Enjoy your freedom from becoming a weekly Mrs Mopp, because one of these days ...

Here's a question for thee. How often should one get their eyes tested. I think I last went about three years ago. I was thinking about it this morning as I gazed out of the 07:52 from Hither Green. I may have to ring D&A ...

Oh Charlton ressies are playing Palarse tonight. Surely it's a chance for Graham Stuart to force his way back in the reconing. No ... thought not.

Anyway it's breakfast time and I think I need a lightly toasted cheese biegel. I know how to live!!!

From frying pan to fire ...

So the whole of Englands failings as a football nation are down to David James? The Clown Prince of goalkeepers, who famously played 10 hours of playstation before a big game. This is the same David James who has about 100 kids, was a model and vwas in the papers for a fling with an ex schoolfriend. Excuse me if I spit ...

It's only a game ...

I'm feeling a bit fragile today after a long day at cricket yesterday. We were down in Limpsfield, yes ... I know, against Cooksley and his Beechwood lot. A interesting game played in nice hot conditions. We kept them down to 143 and reached the target for 4 wickets. Given that I went in at number 6 it's with great pleasure to inform everyone that I hit the winning runs. Oh my, I've still got it.

Well we are up and running in September. Is summer over ? Are the nights drawing in ? What do I want for Christmas ?

Now here's something for you. I'm reading the Metro on the way to work. The letters page is always a blast. Right, they are talking about bargains, and how people have been conned. There's a bloke writing about how he bought a camcorder, camera, mobile phone for £250 from a market stall in Hackney Wick only to get them home and find the bag was full of milk. Hang on ...

Has anyone here ever bought an expensive piece of kit from a market stall? A PC, or an ipod ... ??? You just wouln't would you ?? Maybe it's just me ...

And another thing ...

We had a bomb scare in Hither Green Lane of Saturday. The first I knew was when I turned the car into the Lane at about 11:30 only to be met by a Policeman on horseback. I parked up and started to cross the road to get in my flat.

"Oi, where are you going ...?" said the horseman ...

"To my flat there ..." was my reply

"Not at the moment you ain't" he came back at me.

So there I was a bagfull of groceries, ones for the freezer in one hand and my binoculars in the other. Only joking there. There was a suspect package in the Post Office. How can they tell what is a suspect package? Why would anyone want to bomb the Hither Green sub post office? Anyway the bomb squad turned up and found it was a mobile phone.

Thanks anyway ... that's £25 quid of meals for one ruined.

Big up rude bwoy ...

Look at the size of those ...

Well another pic was sent, so I'm passing it on. I really should drink more water ... Not good.

Well I didn't get to the City Addicks meeting yesterday. I was still a tad tired, and couldn't face any more pop. Saying that I've just had a breakfast of some fois gras and chateau de fesles bonnezeaux 99. I know how to live. Of course those meetings are all very cloak and dagger, so I don't expect to hear what went on, so I am a bit gutted I didn't go ...

Roll on the weekend. It's my last game of cricket this summer on Sunday so I'm looking to get in the runs. It's been a bit disappointing this year, but hey as we say when the FA Cup comes round, there's always next year.

I may be back later on ... I need a rest and a cup of tea !!!!

Right I'm back after a nice refreshing spin class. Yeah right. Old Batnie has said that I'm a sensative soul ... that made me chuckle anyway. Sensative, I think he hit the nail right on the head.

I've just watched a bit of TV where the Russians stormed that school. Blimey, it's all a bit scary really, it's a weird world we live in, especially when all we have to moan about is the state of our football team.

The sun is still shinning ... infact he's got his bleedin hat on.

Anyway ... it is nice to get a few comments added to the page. If you want to say something feel free to let me know ... I don't bite !!!!!

The World as we know it ...

I just spend half an hour writing out my blog for the day and the bleedin thing didn't save.

Typical ...

I was moaning about Maxine Carrs boob job, Sir Clyde Woodward and his rugger bugger mates, the bottling of 50Cents at Reading, and loads of other things I can't remember.

I think I also mentioned the horse racing scandal and the fact that I haven't got any more Carnival pics.

I might also of mentioned the fact that there is a Charlton supporters meeting with Martin Simmons in the City tonight. But I just can't be bothered to go and listen to people moan ... that's got to be the one eh ... !!!!

Oh did you see that pic of that Chav bird who had Kelly Homes tattooed on her back. She would have been better off with Barratt Holmes eh ...

Have I told you that gold is the new brown which was the new black. So for this autumn I want to see you all blinging ...

About the Reading festival. What is it with yuff from Windsor thinking they are on the edge by wearing a SlipKnot tee-shirt? They should try living on the Charlton Heights and pretending you are in Greenwich ... that's cutting.

Oh and I remember. I said something about Andy D'Urso and his bann for not sending off Barry Ferguson for two yellow cards. I think I said something about human error, we are all human and stuff. But why not ban Ferguson, he knew he had been booked twice so should have left the field ... or just ban Graeme Souness, for a laugh.

Put ya hands up in da air ... now down in ya diiiiirty underwear ...

Right, a couple more pics of the carnival for you. It was good, especially when the sun shined. Oh and I'm still recovering. I laid my head down at about 9 o'clock last night. It didn't take long for me to be in Nod land.

And the rain came down ...

So the transfer window came and went ... and all we got was a load of nothing. There's Rooney showing his true blueness by buggering off to UManU, Palarse get a couple of loaneeee's from Inter Milan, hang on don't we have an agreement with them?? And WBA get a couple of peeps who we have never heard off. It could be worst though, we could have signed Robbie Mustoe and Jespar Blomquist.

Here's a question. Does anyone actually still go on that terrible Friends Re-united site. I can't work out why anyone wants to rekindle some old love after maybe a 20 year gap. Surely those lovely 15 year old girlfriends are now late 30's biffers. Oh, maybe it's just me ...

The boss has just come back off his holidays and won £500 on the lottery. I suppose you have toi be in it to win it.

Did you know there are only 115 shopping days to Christmas. I can't wait.

Sunshine on a rainy day ...

Well ... it's the Notting Hill Carnival and you should always wear a clean pair of pants ...

It's been a weird couple of days, well I say weird ... I really mean drunken. Two days at Notting Hill, pail/ pale into insignificance. I'm back at work, quality ... shmollerty.

The Charlton boys lost the plot up at Manchester. Luckily I didn't spend another 100 squids on making the journey. The rain fell for bits of the weekend, but I was also able to get rid - I mean give out the last 50 badges.

I also got through some fine sloe vodka, most of a bottle of Appleton rum, some coors lites ... some buds ... and some patties, fried fish and corn.

Respect to Good Times ... it's always a pleasure to get down to some of the tunes. It does make me laugh when people question attending the Carnival, because it's a bit dodgy. They should try going to Grimsby on a tuesday night.

I hope you dig my Sunday afternoon atire above. Gold was definately a must ... I was strictly blinging.

Anyway, 5 minutes of typing and I haven't moaned ... let's move on.

What is it with people who feel they can sit on a train and put their feet on the seat in front. I'm not talking about Chavvy Dave and the Burberry kid here. I'm talking about supposed respectable suburbanites, with Camper trainers, levis and North Face rucksacks. You know the type. Reading the Observer on a train on a Sunday, that was a tad packed but wouldn't move. I was in pleasant company so didn't bother starting.

Oh and the trains were fcuked this morning. Typical eh. A couple of days off and it all goes pear shaped. Anyway ... how are you Kev? No texts recently !!!!

Have I said how good the Notting Hill Carnival was ... I may have another pic or two for you later on ... so watch this space.

Try before you buy ...

So old King Cole came back to the Valley and left with his tail between his legs. Now that's a damn shame ... NOT.

I got the Docklands home last night, all the way to Lewisham. When I got out the heavens opened. Now I have seen rain before, but I kid you not it was like a large tap running down. There was water everywhere. All I needed was a mac, some trunks and some vaseline ...

It's bank holiday this weekend so keep it real ...

It's Carnival time ...

This bleedin blo(o)ger ...

Just a quick one, I couldn't log on yesterday ... so I wasn't able to wish Carlton Cole a good game ...

180 degres of seperation ...

So Kelly Holmes has gone and spoilt the party. She's only gone and won a gold medal. Great Britains third gold medal in womens athletics, ever. So how are we going to wallow in our own self pity if they only go and win. Jeeeez and peas.

So back to the Addicks. There are a few Charlton web pages I look at most days, Netaddicks being one of them ... although I do read some of the drivel and tut and Forever Charlton. Forever being a link to most things Charlton, but sometimes they just push you that extra mile. I've just looked at the site and they are singing the praises of the rise in Charlton blogs. To actually quote they say ...

"The humour and insight of the fanzine days is re -emerging."

Yep if you say so. Then they big up some of the stars listing All Quiet, Wyn Grant, and a new one called Reet Smoot. This page is meant to be a stream of conciousness Addick thoughts and left field humour. So it could be written by Graham right? And to top it all his pages also have the entire lyrics to Uptown Top Rankin at the bottom.

Uptown Top Rankin!!!! You're having me on. Althea & Donna at their best. Well back in 1978 it might have been, but really. So a novelty answer record gets the Addicks all shook up. Here's one for you, go get the lyrics for the record that A & D were answering. Trinity's "Three Piece Suit".

It's still summer. Well I think it is. It's now been overcast for the last 4 days and we're counting down to the Bank Holiday. You know it's going to rain come Sunday and Monday. I can't wait.

Oh ... and if anyone wants to buy an autographed Joma Charlton shirt let me know. I won it at the player of the year doo. It's signed by Curbs, most of the first team squad, and even Merv. I'm open to offers.

My tune of the day: Head Cup - Johnny Lover

Surprise, surprise ....

No not that our Paula fcuk-ed up but Shell Jubin from Big Brother had wacked her jubleeee's out on page three. She then justifies this by saying it's "ART", infact Page 3 emancipates women, letting them exploit their assets, earn cash and keep control. Yep, you got it Shell ... all of that and more. I think you may have been wrongly advised.

Anyway, poor old Paula. I was flicking between her race and the Arse game. At about the hour and a half mark it was obvious that Paula was feeling it. All the hype was just ebbing out of her ... it was quite sad to see. I think Brendon Foster hit the nail on the head, when he pointed out that Paula had never run a marathon in the summer, that all her competitors had competed and won in actual races, not time trials like Paula ... and that maybe she wasn't as good as we thought.

And reports today indicate that Asda are Britains biggest clothes store. Bring it on. Now I know where Graham gets all his kit from, I wonder what the Swedish equivalent of Adsa is? Over to you Kev!!!!

Wayne Rooney is addicted to tarts. Southampton have sacked Paul Sturrock. Football, it's a funny ol' game. Oh, I'd just like to thank Shaka Hislop for showing all the goalkeeping skills of a West Indian opening bat. Thanks Shaka.

By George ....

Well according to this morning news Georgie Best, you remember the one ... he wears womens knickers and a wonder bra, anyway our George has been poking a 19 year old an texting her fiance. Have I missed something here? Have you seen George, he looks a right state!!!

Unbelievable ....

But then we have Mark Wright at Chester. He quit the new football league team two weeks ago, and no one knew why!!! It now appears he was shacked up with one of his players wives. Talk about shit on your own doorstep.

Unbelievable ...

Oh and we won a gold in some sort of yachting/ boating event. Does that mean that all the row boats on the Serpentine will be taken this weekend?

A-Levels ... what's the point? Apart from those triplets going to Cambridge that is. Thanks for that Kev ...

I've decided to do some house work come Sunday. You know put the hoover round, dusting ... even mopping the kitchen floor. I just want to get the flat looking right. Once a year ain't too bad is it?

Here's one for you!!! Watch that Borat's TV programme on Channel Four tonight. It's already had more complaints than most shows, due (sic) in part to the Jewish sketch in the red neck bar.

I missed the BBC 3 programme - "The trouble with Black Men" last night. I was saving myself for Sex, Footballers and Videotape. I bet that ruffled a few feathers ... it made me laugh anyway.

It's the Notting Hill Carnival next weekend. I'm just hoping the sun shines. There's nothing quite like dancing in the streets, with some gin and juice and the sun shinning down. It's got to be Good Times on Sunday.

Anyway ... here's hoping for three points tomorrow ...

My hallway ...
My hallway ....

Only in America ....

Well actually in nWoolwich. As Abu Hamza and a few of the other Muslim terror suspects where offered pork for din-dins. They were actually offered "Spicy pork chops suitable for halal diets" yeah right, you'll be telling me that Matt Owen never gets of his high horse next!!!

The beach volleyball is still being shown at the Olympics ... it's as graceful as ballet, er I think.

Oh and the last test starts today. It looks like rain, but knowing the West Indies it's going to be all over by Saturday.

No Charlton news. No new signings, or links ... it's all a bit boring once the season starts. Roll on Saturday then ... the first home game of the season ... I can't wait.

Oh, I've just found a picture I took of my newly decorated hallway. It's soooo much nicer than it was ... what do you think? I've added it above ...

Get in there ...

Blogging, shmogging ...

Well it seems like everyone is blogging now. There are an infinate number of Charlton bloggers, okay maybe not that many, but all talking the same trash. Some people eh ... some people. Some even moan that they aren't IT savvy, HELLLLO!!!

Anyway, Average Joe finished last night when Melana chose Jason and not Adam. You knew it, didn't you!! It was a bit weird though, as she was tonguing down loads of the blokes. It's not something that you would want to see your gal do on National TV. Anyway, wait for series three when Adam returns.

Back at the Olympics, the Brits have won another medal. A bronze in the butterfly. We've just won another bronze in the canoing, things are looking up.

Oh an Carlton Cole scored two last night. That did make me laugh.

Anyway back to some footie. Well would you believe it, Paul Parkers red and white army won 5-2 away at St Albans. This was after losing at home on Saturday. It seems it all came together and they put on a good show. That might mean I make a visit to Park View Road in the coming weeks, but then again ... maybe not.

It rained again last night. I might have to search ebay for a rain coat. Any suggestions on styles?

Living in a concrete jungle ...

There I am reading the Metro this morning, the letters page to be precise. We have Ed from Herts, who says "Am I the only one who couldn't give a monkey's about the Olympics?"

Well thanks Ed ... thanks for that insite in your psyche. A monkeys about the Olympics ... jeeeez. Maybe one of the only events that brings the world together, cutting through racial, religious, ginger tensions. What's the betting that Ed, is a merchant, or maybe 25 stone or just shite at sport???

I would have to agree with Clive from London though. Why is tennis an Olympic sport?

So the West Indies threw away the latest test. You enjoy it, it won't last.

Oh, thanks to Kev for pointing out it is national cleavage week.

And as for Charlton, I'm still annoyed at their showing on Saturday. It's about time they actually showed a bit of passion.

Apologies ...

To start, it was all a bit hectic on friday. I just didn't have time to put anything up. Oh well.

Secondly, it would have been nice to hear Curbs send out an apology to all us mugs that had traipsed up to Bolton on Saturday. I would say it will be a long time before I do it again. £30 for this, £25 for that, a beer ... a train, a night out in Blackpool ... shucks ... "MUG" ain't the word is it.

I have to say I just didn't get it. The same old short comings, no urgency ... lack of skill, no actual ball winner, no flair ... oh my, it's going to be a long hard season. If I was Danny Murphy I'd be having words with my agent.

Anyway, Blackpool was ... er, Blackpool. Normal muppetry going on, lots of tattooed ladies, drunken bums and kiss me quick hats. I've definitely got to get one of those. It was a rather quiet affair ... getting in at 4 in a vodka induced drunken stooper ... oh what a great setee that was.

I'm not sure what the problem is with ths hysteria over Team GB's cwap showing at the Olympics. We ain't that good. We did get a silver in the synchronized diving. Roll on the underwater hockey.

Rucksack rage ...

What is it with these jokers that come on trains wearing their best rucksacks? That would be a packed train, and they don't remove them!!! Blimey ... some people.

Added to the old yawny crew, the garlic crew, the read a broadsheet crew ... and the I want a seat for my bag crew, train journeys are really a bore.

It seems like Chelsea have had to stump up another £1.5 million in regards to the Carlton Cole thingamybob. Another bit of money to put towards a few extra players. So what next? Another striker, a midfield holding player ... ???? Well we are all watching with bated breath, It's been a weird week.

I hope you are all wearing your "LiveSTRONG" wristbands. If NOT go out and get one, wear it with pride ... you know it makes sense.

It's raining in Manchester ... Old Trafford. There's a surprise.

I'm having a curry at lunch time. Well I say a curry, but it will be lamb chops and sag gost. It's because I've been at Hatstand for a year, one whole year. Blimey, time does fly ... when you're having fun.

My tune of the day: Give me your love - Sisters Love

Ciao, Paolo ... it was good

So he's gone. Left us to return to his home in Rome. It was only a year but it was fun. The chipped penalty against the Arse, the tumble in the box at Leicester, the turning inside out of John Terry on Boxing day - that one was definitely worth it just to see the look on Wendals face once I had got up to the Manor.

As I say it has been good ... you'll always have a place Paulo.

Anyway, with one door shutting another always opens. Would you believe it ... two England international signing on at the Valley. Never in a million year. I've been texting all the Spudz fans I know, but had no reply ... surprised eh !!!! Danny Boy said that he wanted to work for an experienced English manager and the Fox in the box must just be happy to feel wanted.

Roll on Bolton.

I'm up in Blackpool this weekend. I get there early Saturday, have a few drinks then hot foot it across country to Horwich Parkway. Oh I can't wait. Am I allowed to put LOL here ... or should I actually say laugh out loud.

My tune of the day: My First Mistake - Michael Watford

Peaches and cream ....

And snow covered mountains, these are a few of my favourite things.

But if you lived in Walsall or Woolwich well last night painted a very different picture. If you watched that Darcus Howe programme on Channel Four you would not be going to the Bescott or hanging at the first McDonald's to be opened in the UK. You'd be keeping yourself to yourself, nuff said.

I did actually understand what the people were saying. There you have the Muslim Crew talking about how they don't like this lot, that lot ... and how in 20 years time we'd be living in Pakistan. Hmmm ... I don't think so. It's alright to believe that if your living in your little utopia, but in the big wide world it ain't happening. It was interesting to see that some of the Muslim youth saw Osama Bin Laden as a hero, as opposed to Bush/ the Jews/ the Blacks ... everybody really. To me it's more to do with religion than actually colour. Religion ... what that's all about I don't know ... but it keeps the masses quiet.

Moving on, there's a one page spread in the Sun (yes Kev still reading it) today about how the Ferrieras aren't a real indication of a typical Asian family today. You're having a laugh aint ya? Not typical!!! Really???

Yep, all the first names are of different origins ... a Hindu name, a Muslim name and a Ronny!!! They have a Portuguese surname, and they all drink in the pub.

Then it says how in Bad Girls we have the worst Jamaican accent since Jim Davidson. It's because the woman playing her is African. It's like me playing a Yorkshire man ...

Anyway all the Charlton boys are holding their collective breaths today. Why, we've been linked to a couple of players. I'm not going to name them, cause I'll put a hex on it, but I'm hoping, jeeeezx am I hoping.

Go on my son ...

So here we have it. Faria actually loved Sven. She even had to stop an interview when she said he'd go back to Nancy. Now read between the lines. A PA working in London on £38k has a flat in Tooley Street and drives a porsche. Yeah right. I think she actually loved the money ... call me old fashioned.

I had a weird weekend. I went out friday night to Play. I drank loads, had a good boogie, crossed paths with Mr Fight the World .... lost Gary and Glen, back to Plaistow ... fell asleep.

It's just dawned on me that I'm going to Bolton on Saturday. I do put myself in some positions. Why, oh why, oh why. We ain't signed anyone as well ... blimey.

I played cricket yesterday for the Charlton Gonads. We lost, but hey it was enjoyable. Well sort of, ish ... hmmmm, I think so anyway. Some peoples expectations though, oh well.

I'm thinking about getting an airconditioning/ fan unit. But is it worth it? For a couple of weeks a year ...

Oh and make sure you watch Channel Four tonight at 11. Darcus Howe presents ... !!!!!

Strawberries Rock ...

It could be the name of a new form of music, but in fact it's my lunch and how I've fallen into a Strawberry eating trap. With fresh cream .... mmmmm.

I put this first as I should have started with good old Dubya, and his quote. You know the one ... the one thats been on the news ... yep that one ...

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," George Bush told an audience of military brass and Pentagon chiefs. "They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

It's the sort of thing that Mervyn Day would have said ... ya get me.

It's the end of BB tonight ... TFFT

The Mile High Monster ...

So there we have it. I undertook my first speed dating session last night. There we had about 30 women all in a line, waiting for their Prince Charming. The only problem was that there were about 15 off us. Wendalls birthday party. 15 blokes all with dodgy name, mine being Terry Cooper ... trying to keep the conversation flowing. I would say that after about 10 "dates" I was out. I'd had enough. Mundane chat, jeeeez, what do you do? what brings you here? where do you live?

No thank you ...

It was an experience. But I don't think I am a Prince Charming.

So they voted out Stuart. Not really a surprise, but I can't believe that people want Nadia to win. It's easy, right, it makes you feel good, right, it makes you think you are doing the right thing, right?

Bollies ...

It's a great marketing ploy, a right-on factor ... even Davina says the votes closer than you think. How do I know? How do I know that the voting even counts?

Oh, I'm having my hair cut tonight. I'm not too sure what style tho ... and then I'm going out for another set of birthday drinks. It's Matts birthday. That's Matt of Matt and Claire fame ... and that's Claire of Claire and Ruth. If ya get me.

Happy Birthday ...

Mr Wendell.

Twenty Seven ... blimey how time flies!!!!

It suddenly dawned on me as I stood in the queue at Tescos, exactly how stupid some people are. I'm sure I've mentioned stupidity before, but what the heck. As I was queuing in an aisle I left a slight gap to allow trolleys etc to pass. I had my headphones on, and was whistling a happy tune. Then a woman came and stood in front of me. I said excuse me, she looked at me and cut her eyes to the heavens. Excuse me I replied I am actually in the queue. She turned and was confronted by the twenty or so people behind me who were all muttering. She said nothing and was on her way. Next I had a bloke come up to me and say ...

"Are you waiting in the queue ...?"

No I should have said, I'm waiting for me bleedin' bus. It beggars belief, it really does.

Anyway I had more strawberries and cream for my lunch. I think I look like a strawberry.

I actually got my new phone today. The Nokia 7250. I think that's the one. But it's the new one with a 1mb pixel camera. Should lead to some fun. I did have to sit there and transfer my contacts over one by one. It's a new network provider and could I get my PC Bluetooth to work.

Answers on a postcard.

I'm in serious need of a haircut. I think I'll have to cultivate my fro'.

What's in a title ... ???

You have to laugh at peoples views.

There was a guy on the Charlton POB list stating that he only has a high regard for the sanctuary of marriage, but also for a stable relationship like Sven and Nancy. He then goes on to call Faria Alam a slapper. Ho hum is what I say ... you can't have it all can you?

Back in the Big Brother house, it really is getting quite boring. Sod Nadia, Dan, Shell and Stu. The only one worth watching is Jason, but all that happens there is he gets slagged off left right and centre. What's wrong with the fact that he doesn't like the rest of the idiots? At least he ain't being false about it.

Team handsome ... my arse.

I would like to thank people for their comments. But could you leave your names!!! How can I reply if I don't know who I'm replying to. Also I do have a forum where you can leave me a message ... oh you don't want to ... your loss.

I was reading Living etc on the way to work this morning. I was pleased to see that wooden flooring is making a comeback. So last year it was carpet, the year before lino ... blimey, I'm not too sure what else you can put down.

Good on Rio for wearing da fro. It's a tad picky, picky ... I'm sure his mum will get the comb out.

David Grey ate my hamster

You know ... I have nothing to say today.

I had a quiet weekend, going to Luton on Saturday and Bexley on Sunday to wield da willow.

I'm still loving the sunshine ...

Oh ... and another thing. People should really get out more. I went to the Jazz Cafe on Thursday, and said on Friday I was "Shagged" ... that's shagged as in tired, not as in SHAGGED - making love to a beautiful lady ... whoooooooooooosh

Moan and groan ...

I'm just sitting here watching Channel 4  and they had an advert for hemorrhoid cream. What is the world coming to??

People are still wearing their backpacks on the train!!! It's just so annoying. Then today I came up against the Tunbridge Wells phenomenon. I jumped onto a train an London Bridge to go one stop to Cannon Street. We all piled on to be met by a small First Class compartment. There we had Mr and Mr T.W sitting reading their financial times. Bags on the adjacent seats, jackets hanging of the back of their seats. Oh thank you Sir. Then to crown it all, they wanted to get up and put their jackets on before we reached the stop. This caused a young girl to fall forward, into a bloke, who fell forward, treading on my foot ... as I scowled at the said MR T.W.

These people ... all self, self ... self. WTF.

I got to Wycombe last night. It does make me wonder why I go to pre-season matches. But it's better than BB ... even with Michelle going off her rocker.

I've just had a packed of sweet cigarettes. They absolutely rock.

I need a cup of tea, anyone want to put the kettle on ???

Is it me or is BB not the same without Victor?

Time doth flyeth

Blimey it's lunchtime already.

A LBT session at the gym today and then it will be time to go to the Post Office before winging my way down to Wycombe. Don't ask ... why do I bother, but it may be nice to see the Romm-meister make his debut.

I caught some of BB last night. Blimey, that Michelle. The daggers she keeps giving Stu and Shell. You would laugh wouldn't you, unless she was doing it to you. Kev, you must have had a few bunny boilers in your time ?

Anyway the boss has turned up in his Porsche. I may have to go take a look. How the other half live, eh !!!!

My oh My ...

So our IT partners have just done a summary of the software loaded on my machine and have said ... "Cor Blimey ..." What's this for, what about that ... what about this ere !!!!

Luckily every piece of software is for business purposes. A few bits of messenger stuff, some html writing software, a DVD player ... whats the fuss. I am Champion of Technology. I'm testing this stuff out.

I would like to thank Ms Lane for a lovely lunch. A shared bottle of red, what more could you ask for. However she did waffle on about stuff. I think she's feeling a bit broody ...

My hairdresser hasn't called me back. I am in desperate need of a cut. I can't do a thing with it.

I bought a couple of new CD's yesterday. The new Blaze album, yes you know .... and Louie Vegas Elements of Life thingy. Top draw both of them, and I would have to say respect to the house posse out there.

More cricket nets tonight. My body doesn't know what's hit it. I did a Body Pump class this morning at 7:30. A spin class and TBC class yesterday. I'm gonna be buff at this rate.

DON'T MAKE ME ANGRY, YOU WON'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGRY ...

Charlton ain't signed anyone yet. Anyone else that would be. It's all getting a bit boring ...

This bouncy castle ...

that one is not suppose to go back to !!!!

WTF ...

So they voted the Slick Man out. Yep, great editing got rid of one of the BB characters. Victor was made out to be the bad guy. I don't see it myself, but this is the British public we are talking about. The pie eating, doughtnut munching public, that get on MY train in the morning, yawning, farting, burping to their hearts content. That public that drive 5 minutes up the road, that throw fag ends out of car windows, and let dogs mess on the playing fields.

Me bitter ... not 'arf ...

So the Charlton boys still lack a bit of depth in the squad. A 1-1 draw in China, following the 3-2 defeat. It hasn't got my loins jumping put it that way.

I played a bit of cricket this weekend. A net session on Saturday for a few hours, and a match on Sunday. Home to Telston and Merryworth (!!!) I think. We were cwap. I need to get a new team. There are too many politics involved in playing for the Pilots. I went in number 11, to be left high and dry needing 6 for victory. Why do I bother?????

Otis got some tickets for the Summer Sessions doo over in Hackney on Saturday night. Soul II Soul and Norman Jay MBE. Now I do remember S2S from back in the 80's, a few vgood Sunday nights at the Africa Centre. But this was ... oh so watered down. They have an MC, so it sounded like a barn dance ...

Left, right ... doxy doe ya partner ...

And drum and bass ... oh pleeeezzzzz. It's not big and it's not clever.

Svens had an affair .. !!!! I don't get how you can have an affair if you are not married. It's a scandal according to the Sunday papers. The only scandal is how this woman found him attractive. Answers on that old postcard.

Another round of love stories in the Metro. Natasha ... get over it !!! Ben, your mutual eye catching moment can happen every day, blimey. I do wonder if I am living i the real world.

Onwards and upwards ....

So there I am, booking a flight to Blackpool for the first game of the season. It's away at Bolton, so only a 25 minute train journey from the Tower. Ten minutes, ten minutes later a **News Flash** email. Hmmm ...

Claus Jensen has been sold to Foolham for £1.25 mill. Blimey. I'm not sure how that works but he was just that little bit different from what we've got. A bit of guile, thought ... Intelligence. Oh well, we've got Kish for another 3 years and Stuart.

I can't even get a refund.

I just bought some new cleats for those cycling shoes I bought. Yep, the cycling shoes that I will be using for the spin classes. Starting today.

Oh and England are still taking the pish in da cricket.

Talking of cricket, it seems like we've got some nets sorted for tomorrow. Only 8 months late. I tried to get it sorted in January, but you know what people are like.

I wore my new D&G sunglasses today. I do get the strangest looks, but people do need to chill a bit.

Oh well. It's a sad day. But I've got my Bluetooth to work ...

Wood for the trees ...

Do people actually enjoy watching Stuart and Michelle? Boring Billy and Psycho Billie!!! I don't get it myself. Victor continues to be the Slick VIC, the Ghetto VIP ... a bit like Mr Everest really.

I had an enjoyable evening with my mother and brother yesterday. A nice walk in the park and a nice meal. Family values eh. My Mum talked about Wife Swap, and explained how we had been brought up proper like. I have to agree.

I read that story about the squatters yesterday. It appears they have had a change of heart and have given the property back to the owner. So being homeless or a scummy squatter doesn't mean that you have to lose all your morals?? Only some.

I'm going to have to go and see Shrek 2. But do I really want to be surrounded by loads of screaming kids? If I wanted that I could go to a CIFC match !!!!!

Shagtastic ...

So they did it. Big Brother seems to have had their first bonk. Or what we think was a bonk. A few tantalizing shots of feet, some moans, groans ... well ladbrokes are paying out.

Whats more important is that we keep Jason and Victor in the house. They are so much more fun than the rest. The plotting, the talk, the diary room rants ... isn't this what we want. Not Michelles biatching or Shells, well Shell's nothingness. Vote Nadia out ... you know it makes sense.

I can't believe it's Wednesday already. Where do the weeks actually go? It's also nearly August. Or more importantly it's nearly Christmas. Oh and Vote Nadia out.

I'm actually going out for something to eat with my Mum and bro tonight. It was my bros birthday at the weekend so he'll get his pressie, and my Mum has come up to the Smoke to go to the theatre. I can't remember what it is she's come to see, but it's on in Victoria. Vote Nadia out.

I was stuck on a train for 48 minutes this morning. The 8:02 from Hither Green got as far as the New Den, just outside London Bridge and just stopped. It stopped, stopped and stopped some more. The air con was turned off and people started sweating. The bloke in front of me started chucking up. You know chucking up a stink. A mix between garlic, bo and mustyjackets. It was quite off putting. The woman to my right started Riverdancing. If she trod on my foot once she trod on it 10 times. But did she say sorry, what do you think. Then a couple to my left started to get amorous. A scary looking couple at that. I don't want to see people swap spit. It definitely put me off my cheese toasty. When we did finally get to London Bridge, there was just a quick sorry for the delay, then off you go. British Rail .. we're getting there, My ass. Vote Nadia out.

So can Minty get to the garage in time to save Gary. Blimey Eastenders is really hotting up!!! Or maybe I should actually get out more??? You decide ...

I had one of those days yesterday. A tbc class at the gym, strawberries for lunch, eggs and smoked mackerel for dinner, blimey my constitution aint all there. I actually did two loads of washing and some ironing. I watched BB then went to bed. There must be more to this. I'm 27 years old, is this all I have to look forward to. Answers on a postcard ...

I think I'm going to go with the Nokia 7610.

Right. Here's one for Everest. This thing about Kylie Minogues backside. We now have some gal called DJ Sassy saying she has a better bum than Kylie. Well word is that there are a lot of girls out there with a better bum than Kylie. In fact Kylie doesn't have a bum. A REAL BUM. She has, what is known in the trade as a "Back". Kev, if that's your thing ... live with it. But blimey, don't go preaching will ya.

The football season seems to be kicking off and we still haven't had the first test yet. It's happening at Lords on Thursday. So watch this space ...

I like the way you move ...

Was what Mr Williams called out to RandyAndy as he minced his way back to the changing rooms on Sunday afternoon. The CIFC boys were up in Leeds at the IFA Worldnet Championships. They were playing Killmarnock in the quarters and leading 1-0. Poor old Randy went up to try his luck, and after firing the ball just wide ... he, er .. well ... followed through. I blame TFI's said Matthew Owen.

My cricket was rained off. Quite early in the day. Beechwood our opponents weren't too pleased, according to Mr Cooksley, but it was raining shed loads in North Kent. What do I know????

I was actually going a bit stir crazy over the weekend. I didn't actually see anyone, or anything for that matter. I watched a few dvd's, some of the golf ... even though I still think it's a walk spoilt, some cricket and wwe wrestling. How good is that??? Wrestling, my first love.

I'm still at loggerheads with what phone I might get. I might get a paper cup and a ball of string. That would be oh so coooool ...

I actually went to watch some footie on Friday night. The Charlton boys actually played some good stuff against Welling. 8-0 was the score but it could have been 10-0, maybe even 12-0. But it was only Welling, with their new look squad. Including Mr Novelty haircut. Consensus is that you have to be really good to sport a fancy cut. If your a bit fat, lacking ball skills, finesse then stick to a skin head.

So it's week whatever in the BB House and Shell is up for eviction. Yep Shell, remember her, the girl who brings absolutely nothing to the dance. She now says that she will get her nauwks out if she's kept in. Thanks ... we've seen them ... move on.

I was worried I was turning into a BB freak, but I missed it yesterday and didn't really seem that bothered ... result.

My new cycling shoes arrived by post this morning, so there was me in the spin class with ma feet aching. It's like having two breeze blocks on ya tootsies. Stick to Mayflies ... that's what ma old Mum always used to say.

The bros grim are out of the office playing golf today. It's been a bit quiet apart from my music annoying everyone on the floor. Hey, it's the weekend ...

Hola if you hear me ...

Surprise surprise ... the news on the street is that there are racists in the BNP. Similarly there are motorists in the AA, Dancers in the School of Performing Arts ... and people who shag their sisters in Carlisle. Bleedin 'ell.

Here's a question. Why do people stop at the ticket barriers and then start to look for their tickets? It's just not big ...

I actually took a trip out to Sainsburys last night. I had to get some soap powder and stuff and ended up buying loads of strawberries, radishes, spring onions, brussel tops and avocados. I haven't eaten radishes for about 10 years so what possessed me I couldn't tell you. I'll let you know the effect on my constitution later.

The CIFC boys are off to Leeds tomorrow for WorldNet. I would like to say good luck, but I don't think luck actually comes into it. It's all about desire. So whatever Cheesy desires make sure he gets it.

Me myself will be taking in Park View Road. I'm waiting to see if Paulo and Lisbie can actually play together.

I think I want to buy some Rayban Aviators. What do you think? Will they suit me? Do I care if they don't? Come on Barnie let me know ...

I'm also down to play cricket Sunday. It's my bros' birthday so I'd better send him a card ... got to keep on top of it.

Fantasy, smantersey ....

So consensus is that women's fantasy date happens to be one ... Wayne Rooney. He's "sexy" and "huggable" who love his boy-next door image. HELLO!!! Maybe I've missed something here, but it goes to show why so many women are bleedin single. They'll be telling me that the boy Everest has smoldering good looks next, and Mr Williams is going to grow a 'fro. Jeeeez.

I've just seen a picture of Lisa Scott-Lee. Does anyone actually think she is attractive? I can't see it myself, but then what do I know.

He's back. Mr Garlic breath stroke Mr Yawny Man was on my train this morning. It was raining so all the windows were closed, the heating was on and this bloke stunk. He then continued to yawn every 3-4 minutes from Hither Green to London Bridge. Being the mild mannered guy I am, I just turned the other cheek. This commuting malarkay ...

It's the first pre-season friendly on friday. The annual jaunt to Welling. I for one can't wait to sing the new El Karkouri, Talal El Karkouri song (to the tune of Alouette) as suggested by Smudge. Good work fella. I saw Vince last night. He and Mrs Vince are off to China for the tour as well. Ireland was a laugh but China, well it does take allsorts. We also discussed Blackpool for the Bolton game. Seems like a rush eh ... come on Mr Chick you know it makes sense.

Single Britain ...

Says the large headline in the Sun today. Yep I'm still reading it Kev, as well as watching BB ... life sucks eh. So what they are saying is that people today don't want commitment, stable relationships ... and in fact marriage. One bloke says that for a man a relationship is a big drain on the finances. Hmmmm. Another says he doesn't have time. But the woman say they want a serious relationship to be emotionally and mentally fulfilling. Have I actually missed something here? There we have the boy Parlour being taken for all he's worth, rubbish like Sex and the City, and there (whooosh, spelling mistake alert!!! FCUK me sideways, some people) telling us we need to be respectful of women's needs. Yeah right.

I had so much grief yesterday when I found out that I had been de registered and my doctors. This was because I hadn't been there for two years. Good call. So now I have to find another local practitioner.

The sun is actually shining today. It's actually quite hot. But so far it's been the third wettest July in history. And I haven't cut the grass yet, gardening sucks.

Still no news on what mobile phone I should be using next. They all look the same. I need something with a wow factor, but as long as it's not on the Three network I'll be okay.

Picnic in the Park ...

Or maybe not. It was slightly overcast yesterday so instead of having her birthday picnic in Vicci Park, Roof decided we could all sit in the pub. The Royal something, but it was good as they served treacle pudding and custard. I also managed not to pish too many people off, I think ... so my people skills are improving.

I was also able to referee the CIFC mob in their game against Welling.

I think I need to get my hair done ...

Typically it was a rather cheesy affair, with the usual protagonists doing their usual stuff. I had to make a few controversial calls but hey that the nature of the beast.

Thanks to Mr W for the pics ... I took it upon myself to "tief" the one above, I'm sure you don't mind too much.

Blimey ...

Thats like Morecambe and no Wise. Little with no Large. Holmes with no Watson. I'm not sure how they are going to work it, but expect more Loch Ness Monster type thingys.

Damn, blast.

I'm down to referee a footie game on Sunday. I'm not sure what outfit to wear yet, but it's going to have to be a good one. I'm not sure if I can find my whistle, oooh er missus.

Still no signings by the mighty Addicks, oh well. There's always next year.

To all the girls I've loved before ...

It doesn't look like this cats going to get married. Not after Mrs Parlour gone and buggered it all up. Do you know how much earning potential I have ? Once they unleash the beast.

Well Summer is here and we are all so worried about hosepipe bans. I haven't sat in the garden once yet this year. Mowed the lawn, your 'avin a laff.

I had a spin class last night, and I had difficulty walking home. The weekend really took it out of me. Then the trains were buggered, but I did get to see Victor sing. Quality stuff.

We're over a week into July and still the boys in red haven't made any major signings. Well we've got Rommedahl but that one doesn't count. It's the first pre-season game on Friday week. I don't want to go, but you know I may have to. The Guy is going to be jammed. Ho hum, as they say.

Just a quick thought. Why do people walk and text? It's just so annoying. And continue to wear their rucksacks whilst on the train? I ask ya ...

The Harbinger of Doom ...

Or maybe that should be Michael Vaughan?? He let the side down he said. Nah, mate just got beat by a better team. Funny how in the space of a few months you can go from being the Cock of the North. It's a funny old game that cricket, ain't it.

So this morning I have been told that my life consists of reality TV and the Sun newspaper. Some good points, but as it was made by the "ONE" Kevin Everest who's life consists of Jenna Jameson dvd's, looking out of his window, the inability to hold a conversation for more than 20 seconds without talking about himself, the eighth best ride in Sweden and the ex-pat community, oh and did I mention looking out of his window ... I think we can file this under the dodo section.

The debate still rages about Tim and the state of British tennis. I'm not too sure if we like winners. We still get off on building them up to knock them off. Poor old Rooney, he'll get his ...

Talking of the Sun, they've done the full page apology to Liverpudlians again. Fifteen years on and they are trying their damnedest to get a foothold back in Scouseland. The piece is all very PC until the end, when they state "It's time to move on." Hmmm, yeah the same way as next time we play the Germans/ or Argentines at footie they won't mention the war.

On a separate note, it would appear no one is leaving comments or using my forum. Oh come on guys/ gals ... give it to me.

Back in black ...

Four games in four days. The thought was attractive, but in reality ... well my arm aches, feet blistered ... my head is thumping. Cricket, lovely cricket. Well it was three wins, until finally the wheels fell off over in the lovely village of Gotherington where the majority of the team spend the first half hour lying motionless in their pavilion.

"Oh my head ..."

If you've ever listened to local radio, don't. As the car meandered through country lanes, we listened to both Radio Swindon and Radio Oxford. It's totally unbelievable, for moments we were speechless ... but luckily not for long. Some lucky punter came on and told us what his old dad used to say.

"If your mother and a blackman where in a boat, that was sinking and you only had one life jacket who would you give it to?"

That's right ... your mother. It's easy as he continued ...

"You have to look after your own ..."

There was much mirth, but also a little headscratching at this. But hey what do I know ...

It was nice to see the Greeks win Euro 04, and they deserved it. Not that Des and the boys would have said so, or the tabloids given them much credit. No, we still live in the Rooney Wonderland ...

On a side note, it was really good not to have email/ internet access for a few days. I even read the Daily Mail to compensate ... now that does deserve a whoooosh.

Remember, remember the First of July ...

Because nothing ever happens.

All summer us Addicks have been told keep the faith, everything will begin to fall into place come the First of July. So come the moment, come the man nd like Tim's Wimbledon exploits it looks like it's going to be a damp squib. At least we have Big Bruva to keep us going. Get that Marco out, what a muppet.

Good old Ally Ross in the Sun. He says that if they passed the Olympic flame to our TIM on cenre court it would have gone out. I did laugh. Then he points out that the best bit of TV this week was Little Lady Fauntleroy. I did watch it, but had to turn it off half way through. It was soooooo bad.

So I'm off to Cheltenham tomorrow, so I won't be doing this for the next few days. I hope you all have a good weekend, don't over do it ... and let's hope the date goes well on Friday, no names mentioned eh ... ;)
